Outdoor Everything Lewis Herms

The entire experience was costly and time consuming. The contractor ultimately made up an excuse to walk away from the project, after being confronted with numerous quality of work issues and inaccurate billing, without completing the work or repairing the damage done by his crew. I worked with Lewis Herms who I found to be incompetent. He didn't provide a plan or oversight of his crew. The work that was performed was poor quality and incomplete. He promised to make it all right, but as I mentioned, walked away from the project. He claims that 67% of his crew is no longer with him as a result of the work done at my house. That's good news for the next homeowner, but I was hoping that Angi would provide the vetting as apposed to my complaints leading to these changes. That's why I tried Angi. Overall, Lewis talks a good game but is unable to deliver. I do not recommend him and am extremely disappointed that Angi would recommend such a poor contractor. If Lewis claims that he walked away from the project due to financial constraints from me, that is a lie. Any financial issues were self imposed e.g. I'm not paying for poor quality work or for workers that lied about the amount of time they worked and Lewis can't confirm because he fired them and he wasn't checking.
