I'm very happy with them. They were recommended to me by one of my co-workers and I had something I needed to be done and I called the dealership, asked them for a quote on what I needed to have done, then called Hays Automotive and they were $300 less. What I discovered over the years with them is that I can call them and get an estimate and I call around and they are always will beat it, plus I can take my car in there and leave it overnight if I have to or I can bring it in the morning and usually will have it at the end of the day. They are honest, upfront, and they always call you before they do anything to see if I approve it. It's a family thing and I have to say that I've very encourage with that. One time they did look on my car and I picked it up, then drove and the guy had to so something with that, and I had to be towed back over, and they fixed it all right away and handled it very professionally.

This is our third Honda CR-V since 1998 under the care of Hays Automotive. We had two '98 CRV-s purchased new [sold in 2002] and subject CRV purchased new in January of 2002. Has been in Hays' care as soon as factory warranty expired. Vehicle just turned 100, 000 miles, and we've no reason to sell it. That is largely due to the outstanding pro-active maintenance services provided by Hays over the years.
The CRV was recently under manufacturers recall for a potentially faulty driver side air bag. Took it to a dealer that I will not name as required on 1/17/12 where that inspection was done without charge. They inspected the vehicle, as they should have, for other maintenance issues. They found one faulty CV boot [not four] and offered to replace it for $325.00! I went to the dealer, retrieved the CRV; took it to HAYS, and they did all of the work described by close of business 1/17, and at a mere fraction of the cost.
The reason I've not written sooner is that I just joined Angie's List about 2 hours ago, and not for auto repair reasons.
This is my opportunity to praise and recommend some very fine people who are worthy of serious consideration for other subscribers.

We like them very much. We have been using them for about five years. We have been searching for a new mechanic recently because they have increased their prices and we find them very expensive now. They used to be very good. Their quality is good and they do a good job. I would not use their services in the future.

"For the last 8 years we had no increase in our oil change prices. Due to the increasing price in oil over the years we were forced to raise the price by $2.00 in return to help ease the increase we lowered our labor charges on oil changes . We use only quality Castrol GTX oils and OEM parts. I do not believe a 7% increase in price in 8 years is to much to ask for."

They seem to be completely honest and their prices seem to be better than most. They have a shuttle service that will take you home and pick you up so your day doesn’t get interrupted.

They are professional, tell you what needs to be done and never start anything without your approval. If they come across anything while they are performing the work they will let you know. They also let you know of anything you may want to address in the future and the overall condition of your car. They have a shuttle service that can run you to back and forth to work or home, etc. I compared their prices to a couple of others locally and it is good.
