I was really lucky, at a time when I needed all the help I could get, to read all the great reviews about Sam & Company. President Sam Purkin took over and helped me decide which laptop to purchase and which iPhone configuration (he was right about suggesting the 5S - I love it). My dinosaur flip phone went into the garbage!
Sam helped migrate all my data from my old computer, set up my backup system and taught me how to organize my photos.
More than that, he helped me understand iCloud, and keep all my gadgets in synch (something I found quite intimidating).
After that, I was on a roll, so Sam further helped me hook up my Apple TV and even made a video for me on how to
connect it and access other programs, like Netflix.
Sam has a personal touch and explains everything very patiently and clearly. He can even Skype to show you how to troubleshoot.
Most importantly, I trust Sam with all my information and can highly recommend Sam & Company for all your MAC
requirements.

As a Professional Organizer and business owner I need to keep my tech world up to date and running smoothly. Sam and Company made this happen. Along with having an old operating system, I also had not backed up my computer since purchasing a hard drive. Sam patiently explained the whole back up and upgrade process in a way that for the first time made sense. He remotely connected to my computer, backed me up, installed the Mavericks operating system, and made sure all my devices were in sync with iCloud. The most valuable thing he did was to organize my various accounts. He explained that the older method that I had previously been using (POP3) didn't allow my various devices to remain in sync. Now, when I read an email on my iPhone it shows up as read everywhere else. But more importantly, I can now reply or send any email on any device and those messages sync to all devices automatically. He also has great ideas how to store and organize my passwords and introduced me to Evernote - which I now can't live without! I can't believe how much more I'm getting out of my hardware that I already owned. His follow up support is also amazing. These guys really care.

They helped make sure I was properly backed up diagnosed why my computer was running so slowly.
Sam (who oversees everything his consultants do) recommended me changing to an SSD hard drive. This
was an ingenious way of speeding up my computer and making it feel brand
new.
I found their price to be fair as I otherwise would have spend thousands on a new machine. I will definitely hire Sam and his
team in the future and highly recommend them to friends and colleagues.
They also provide fantastic follow up help remotely, which is a great safety net. Even when I traveled to overseas, Sam
was able to connect to my computer and fix my email issue. Great service.

Jon came out on time, was very quick and efficient, and explained everything he was doing in a way that made sense. Most of the work was done remotely after my normal business hours, so it didn't interfere with my ability to keep working which was a huge benefit. Jon seems very knowledgable and I trust his recommendations.

Cleaned up and organized my iTunes library, getting rid of tons of duplicates and fixing so many missing songs.
He helped me restore missing music form my old iPod too.
He optimized my iPhoto library which was huge and slow - showing me how to split it into smaller, more manageable libraries.
He figured out why my computer was running so slowly due to an offsite backup program running wild.
He helped me get all of my data backup properly with Time Machine and iCloud.
Showed me how to use Evernote to organize everything in my business and my head!
Finally gave me confidence in where my files were located, what was actually being backed up to the cloud and got all of my iPads and iPhone in sync.
For the first time I actually feel in control of my Apple world.

He said someone would be here at 2pm. They arrived exactly at 2pm. They cleared out my computer and resolved the problems. I was impressed because sometimes when you call a geek squad, they don't come when they say they will. Sam is very nice on the phone and is very accommading. They were on time and they fixed the problem and that is what I wanted.

I called Sam and Company early on a Friday morning. I spoke with Sam. He was friendly, informative and reassuring. After a bit of initial confusion about who would come to help me and when, a very capable tech arrived at my home Friday afternoon. The tech not only installed the router, he helped with several other nagging computer issues. The tech was patient with me while he not only fixed the problems/issues but explained what he was doing and why.
I was most impressed by the way in which I was treated by every person with whom I interacted at Sam and Company. Even though my problem was a small one technically, it was big to me. And this they understood. Even thought I am not very computer-savvy, Sam and his staff made me feel comfortable as we worked through the issues. Stuff happens in business, it's how it is handled that distinguishes a company. When there was a bit of confusion about the availabilty of a tech, Sam and Amber (in the office) understood my desperation and jumped right into action to ensure that somebody came to help me that same day. When the tech arrived, he fixed the problem swiftly and completely. I must say that at each step of the way I was made to feel as if I were not alone with my problem, but rather that there was a team working on a resolution. I was never made to feel as if I were being unreasonable or demanding - even though I cannot swear that I was not...
All in all, a good experience with a happy ending.

As I said above, from start to ongoing, this has been a positive experience with no problems

Way too lengthy to explain everything, but after computer crash and new laptop, they were able to reinstall everything, get ALL my multiple email accounts up and running, and switched me to a new mail client, got internet running better, wireless printer, coordinated everything with my iPad and iPhone, yada, yada, yada. If it was broken, they fixed it. And trust me, everything was broken.

Sam was very personable and went out of his way to help me get a better DSL connection. He actually ordered our new mac computer. He was extremely knowledgeable and I felt very confident about his work. I highly recommend him.

We are not finished but have high hopes!

We initially contacted Sam via email. He responded immediately with a phone call. Sam was funny, kind, professional and extremely knowledgable. We communicated for a few months before service actually took place, as we had to wait until our new cable internet system was hooked up. When we finally made the first appointment for service, Yarone, our technician showed up on time and prepared to work. Everything went exactly according to plan. Yarone was very nice, very smart and really took the time to explain everything he was doing. He worked around our needs to provide the services which best suited us. Yarone did some terrific troubleshooting when problems arose and, in the end, left us with a beautifully operating, completely updated computer system. All 3 of our computers are performing at optimum level thanks to the the work of Sam and Company.

One thing we liked especially about Sam and Company was that they offered several options for the work, varying in price. We were provided an outline of everything we COULD do and then they left it to us to decide what we WANTED to do, based on our budget. There was never any pressure or heavy sales push. It was the most stress-free process we've experienced with a computer company. They were super easy to deal with, very flexible with appointments and mindful of our needs. We would absolutely use them again (and plan to!) as well as refer them to our family/friends for their computer issues.

Sam diagnosed the video card problem and sent me to the Apple store for the exact repair, thus saving time and money. Also configured Snow Leopard and backup software. Sam has handled all my Mac-based computer, software, internet and networking needs for well over 10 years. From troubleshooting any problems, to software installation, to computer training and tutoring, to staying up-to-date on the latest Apple computers and products and all new relevant software, I highly recommend Sam for all your computer needs.
