They did an excellent job. I have used them in the past and they did a good job then. They were on time and did the job quickly and efficiently.

The visit was well worth the money spent, and they even patiently answered all of my questions, as well as allowing both my husband and myself to look over his shoulder as he worked. They were prompt, and dressed appropriately, and were respectful of our property confines.

My water tank (I'm on a well) was leaking and needed to be replaced. I found Freitas Drilling and Pump through (I believe) Angie's List and read their reviews. Based on one particular review I decided to give Freitas a call. I called Tuesday morning and an appointment was scheduled for Thursday afternoon. I was advised by the receiptionist the service person would call me on his way to my house.
Jamison called around 3:00 and arrived at 3:30. He inspected my tank and advised me that it needed to be replaced and why. He showed me where several leaks had started and advised me "patching them" would result in a potential dangerous outcome. He showed me pictures and explained in detail of a past job where the owner only wanted to patch the leaks. A couple of days later the tank exploded, which resulted in considerable damage (which could've been avoided had he just replaced the tank). Thankfully no one was hurt.
Jamison called his office and got a quote for tanks and he advised me of the cost. I gave him the "OK" and he said he would be back in about an hour. Around 4:30 Jamison returned and by 5:45 he had replaced my tank, secured all the piping and fittings, and loaded my old tank into his truck. By 6:00 I had a new tank.
About a month later I had a power outage and my pump turned off and I couldn't figure out how to restart it so I called Freitas again and they were so very helpful. They explained what happened, why it happened, and what I needed to do. I did what I was advised to do and the pump turned back on.
Jamison was so very patient with me (I was asking a lot of questions during the install). He was also very professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. Never once did I feel he was talking down to me or talking over my head. He was also very punctual and considerate.
I will always use Freitas and will recommend them to family and friends when necessary. My experience w/Freitas was exceptional.

My landscaper informed me that my water tank was leaking. Apparently the tank had been leaking for quite a while. I didn't know who to call so I decided to use Angie's List and found several companies specializing in well pumps. However, I reviewed several and decided to call Freitas Drilling and Pump in Tracy. I chose them based on the previous review not only because the issue the homeowner had experienced sounded similar to my situation (and the resolution was positive) but also due to their Grade ratings.
I called and left a message. Frietas returned my call within a couple of hours. I explained my situation and the receptionist scheduled a service call for Thursday, July 12. (I was provided with several options but decided on Thursday). She explained the technician would call me when he was on his way (to my house) and asked if I had any other questions.
At 2:00 on Thursday, I received a call from Jamison informing me he was on his way to my house. By 2:15 he was at my house and was evaluating my situation. He found several holes in my water tank (he even pointed out the areas where old holes were) and strongly recommended to have it replaced. I asked about cost and he immediately gave me an estimate. I never felt pressured and Jamison answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I decided to go forward with the replacement.
Jamison said he would be back within an hour with the tank and necessary parts. He left at 2:30 and was back by 3:30 and immediately got to work. During the entire process, Jamison was very accommodating to me, answering all my questions. He didn't even mind me watching him work. I was very curious and wanted to observe the entire process.
From start to finish, it took about three hours. Jamison arrived at 2:15 and left around 5:00. He even removed the old tank.and he called me a few minutes later to let me know that I might have some air in the lines (he forgot to tell me that before he left).
I am extremely satisfied with Freitas Drilling and Pump. Jamison was polite, kind, professional, punctual, and extremely personable. And the cost was exactly what he estimated. There were no suprises.
Freitas took a very stressful situation and turned it into a pleasant experience. I will highly recommend Frietas whenever possible.

Replaced parts on pressure tank but no improvement on low water pressure. Called to have the well pump checked out. They replaced the pump and it appeared that water pressure had improved. Over the next couple days, water pressure was low again so they came out, checked everything again and ordered a higher volt pump. When pump arrived, they came out and discovered two cracks in the drop pipes so replaced all of them.
Once installed, water pressure seem to improve. Once again, hours later, water pressure was low.
I called explaining water pressure was low again and once again, Jameson came out to check what problem was. Pressure at tank was fine so he checked our water softening system for blockage. Filter on system was blocking water pressure to house.
Problem was water softening system.
Jameson was awesome. He went above and beyond what was expected of him. I am so impressed with him and all his persistance in solving our problem.
