SUNSET HARDWOOD FLOORS

(12/09/2009) We are going to have them come and do the work in a couple of weeks. They were very prompt, professional, and courteous. They are very aware of alternatives to standard hardwood flooring seals. We wanted something that would be non-toxic. They have that, and they will be doing to work for us. I couldn't ask for better. They have done their best with any challenges. They showed up when they said they would. UPDATE (05/05/2010) They showed up in a timely manner. There were a couple of small issues that needed to be resolved, though they weren't as small as I thought they would be. Their actual work was excellent. They used a special Monocoat layer. We love it; we couldn't be happier with it. We asked them to move furniture out of the way, which they were happy to do. We paid them an extra $250. We were going to vacate the house, but we didn't want to have to move all the furniture to storage. We ran into a problem when they moved the couch down the stairs. They did a little damage to the couch. When I pointed it out, the representative of the company was very accommodating.

Estimate appointment was timely and the price was competitive (we got 3 bids) and once we decided to have Sunset do the work the job scheduling was smooth with messages returned promptly. The job itself was handled competently; the workers showed up on time and the work was completed as estimated.

I FEEL THAT THIS COMPANY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON THIS REPAIR. THEY DID A GREAT JOB WITH EXTENSIVE HARDWOOD FLOORING IN OUR HOME. ONE OF THE WOODEN HEATER VENTS BROKE WHEN A CHAIR WAS PLACED ON IT. WHEN THEY CAME TO OUR HOME TO MAKE THE REPAIR THEY MADE SEVERAL ADJUSTMENTS TO THE HEATER VENT TO ENSURE A PERFECT FIT. THE FINISH MATCHES EXACTLY, AS WELL. WE PLAN TO HIRE THEM AGAIN SOON FOR FLOOR MAINTENANCE.
