They were quick and I was pleased with the service. He didn't try to talk us into something we didn't need which I appreciated, but the cost was a little high.

He sprayed on Thursday and even came back on Friday after I had seen more termites. He even went under the house and did a ton of inspections. He is excellent. He is expensive, but well worth it.

Harry Hastie came about when he said he would, completed the inspection efficiently, returned to do the needed treatment at a convienent time. The price was OK. What else could I ask.

Harry confirmed the appointment earlier and arrived on time. Though he was only there to do a minimum termite inspection and treatment he spent well over an hour with us. We are first time home owners and he very kindly walked us through our house pointing out many details that even our home inspector missed. Harry was positive, friendly and enormously helpful. He was so thorough and went well above our expectations. He pointed out the termite area and reassured us that it was minimal and to not let anyone give us a hard sell with extra treatments we didn't need. We were so impressed with him and would highly recommend his services.

Harry came over the next day and looked at the problem. He confirmed for me that it was not termites. He also gave me a brief tutorial about what to look for, what termites look like and signs of their presence. He also took a sample of the dust that was suggestive of some other kind of pest (he said probably spiders) to have it analyzed for me. He drove about 20 miles to get to my house, yet he did not charge me a cent. What a relief not to have termites! I'd call Harry again just for his professionalism, knowledge of his business, and his fairness about not charging me. He's an independent business owner who knows his stuff and will not rush in to sell you a large extermination process if you don't need it. He's great.

I phoned for an estimate and he came within a few days, did the work, and now i am waiting for the final report which he said he would mail to me.

He's got a very good, long history of experience and provided a lot of good advice.

Mr. Hastie is very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. I spoke with him on the phone, and he informed me of the best way of dealing with the local termite infestation in our garage and warned me about treatments that do not work (orange oil) or are excessive. We first used another company to inspect the garage, and they suggested tenting the structure to fumigate ($1000 estimate). So, we called him back, and he performed an inspection of the detached garage. Not only did he think that local treatment was sufficient, he also inspected other areas of the house that I was concerned with and found termite damage in areas that had supposedly already been inspected. He included this information in his report and suggested that I contact the other company (A & R Termite) that had missed the areas of termite damage so that they would repair them at their expense. I found Mr. Hastie to be very knowledgeable, practical and helpful. I would definitely recommend him.
