I located Gary on Home Advisor and was impressed with all of the positive reviews. We scheduled a personal meeting. I found him to be attentive, thoughtful and patient in reviewing my needs on a kitchen remodel. I felt no need to interview other architects. This project has been completed, and I am so thrilled with the end result.

I first met Gary years ago, so long, in fact, I feel like I was just a child. Since then, he's designed homes I've lived in throughout my life. His work transcends more than just utilitarian means but really involves who you are and what you want as an individual. I've come to have my best memories forged in the backdrop that Gary has created. He is a true artist, and his easy-going nature, as well as reasonable prices, makes his firm all the more special. I can't recommend it more highly.

Can't recommend Diebel and Company highly enough. I have worked with this firm 3 times since 2009. Again, in 2015, and once again in 2019. Back in 2009, my wife and I interviewed many architects, and Diebel and Company just made us very at ease. He was always easy to work with, communicative, attentive to our wants and needs, and sensitive to our budget. His work is exemplary throughout our ten years working with him. Gary is prompt, courteous, detailed oriented, and knowledgeable. He is experienced, specializes in residential work, and he was able to give us cost effective suggestions that other architects could not. He listened to our ideas/concerns and was able to execute the plans accordingly. I personally submitted the plans to the Building Department and was told by the plan reviewer that the plans were clean and thorough. Gary was a pleasure to work with. We only have wonderful things to say about him.

Finally completed all approvals from the City. Hiring contractor now so they can pull permit. If you are going to use this architect, make sure you have everything checked out yourself with the City. He will nickel and dime everything from plans and specs and try to get additional money for services. Hash out everything in the contract and make sure it is listed or it will be additional.

"We are sorry for the time the building department took to approve your project, but it falls within their normal schedule and beyond our control. Unfortunately cities are often understaffed. All the services for this project were given to the client in writing in a proposal and the standard agreement form. The fees were very reasonable."

We have just finished the interview/proposal process. After careful consideration we selected Diebel and Company. All of the architects we interviewed seemed competent and making a decision was difficult. An evaluation of work quality can only be made at a later time.

Gary is an exceptionally talented architect. He started with our requirements and designed an inspired home for us. We never want to leave it. We had heard about all his architectural awards and published work, but it is truly spectacular to live in one of his designs.
