The only solution to repair the damaged hardwood floor is a complete sanding and refinishing of the entire floor. I am told this will cost in excess of $6,000! I have filed a formal complaint with the California State Contractor's License Board. The owner of Lana Floor Covering has yet to respond to my complaint. In my complaint I stipulated that Lana Floor Covering is to pay the full cost of sanding and refinishing their defective work.
