Great! I took in the old, battered and barely living window screens. I was told they were not repairable. I was asked if I wanted to replace them, so I did. The price was fair. The work was nice and clean. The screens were ready for pick up as promised. I will use them again. Thanks!

The work was at an apartment complex with aluminum frame windows and sliding glass doors. Pat took my calls and arrived on site to estimate the job on 2 apartment units. He repaired all of the window screens on one, and replaced the sliding screen doors on both units. Everything went well and he made the process effortless. Pat called the tenants and made appointments when the screens and doors were ready. All of the residents are happy with the job Pat completed. Overall a positive and professional experience.

The sliding glass door opens like new.  Thought I would have to replace it but Patrick fixed it.  He installed a new screen door that looks fantastic. The sliding door screens were rescreened and look great.  All at a reasonable price.

Scheduling was a little delayed because they are very busy, but everything looks and works perfectly. I'm very happy with the results.

I have a broken window in the bathroom and it's an old fashioned type window. He said that he doesn't care to repair anything. The glass is broken and the window doesn't go up and down. But he wouldn't come up. He doesn't care to do that type of work anymore. He said it's not worth it. And he is in the neighborhood. He doesn't answer all jobs. I was disappointed. I used him for screen door only. The price was a little higher than if I had it done to one of the big stores. He does the job and goes.

Been a Burbank resident for 30 yrs. and there are certain businesses that create and earn such a good reputation that I would not think of useing anyone else, Woody's Screen Center in one of those businesses. Good work, prompt, informative, competitive prices. He also provided all paperwork for Burbank rebates.

Provider did an excellent, professional job, on a difficult, unusual installation. The job was exactly as promised, for a reasonable price, and the provider went out of his way to assure it was done well. It's reassuring to work with a local provider who is an independent businessman.

Great experience, great people. I have no complaints at all. Just one quick reminder to everyone; they only accept cash or personal checks. I forgot to bring cash and had to go on a side adventure to the ATM before I could pick up my door, but that was my fault for not checking first,

Very easy to deal with. I came, we spoke, they made it while I waited, I paid. It doesn't get easier than that. Prices were fair I thought and the owner is a great guy. Happy to give them my business.

I called 1st to inquire about making an appointment and described what I needed. Was told it would be cheaper to bring the screens than to have a and quot;house call.and quot; Woody's is a relatively short drive so it wasn't a problem. Brought the 2 screens in. Told to come back in 1 hour. I came back in 1 hour screens were done and i aid $19 cash and was on my way.
This place seems old school, no frills - exactly what I needed -- uncomplicated and quick fix for screens. No and quot;upselland quot; for replacing my windows, etc...just performed the basic, needed service. I will come back with other damaged screens.

I am the property manager for two upscale homes in Burbank, California. I had originally called another window company that I have done business with for a long time but they no longer repair screens, so they recommended Woody's. I called and spoke with Patrick, the son of the original owner, who now runs the business. He was a little backed up with work so it took him a few days to pick up the damaged screens. But, he finally did that and he returned them in a reasonable period of time. Patrick reinstalled and adjusted all of the screens, and he even replaced a couple of worn out parts at no additional cost. Good guy, excellent job, reasonable cost.

I have used Woody's in the past ( a while back), and received good service from this longtime Burbank business.
This time, however, Patrick was slow to respond, forgot details of the order, didn't show up when he said he would, etc. They do good work, but he needs to work on this. Granted, he was quite busy during this time, but this shouldn't cause the issues I had.
If you use him, just be patient, and be prepared to repeat yourself.

We dealt with Patrick, Woody's son, and found him to be personable and enthusiastic. His quote was the least expensive of the three we received. We usually don't use the lowest estimate, but several of our next-door neighbors here in Burbank used him for windows and screens and spoke very highly of him, so we went with him. We're glad we did. He was knowledgeable and made sensible suggestions about the look of the window, as well as advising us about rebates.
The window order took the usual amount of time to come in.....I think about 10-14 days. installation went without a hitch, and Patrick's assistant moved a very heavy air-conditioner out of the window for me. The window looks great, and the room is much quieter now. I would definitely recommend Woody's Screen Center.

I drove Highland Park to Burbank twice. I thought it was same day service, but was two day service. I took the window screens home and found that one had a bent side molding. I had to take it back for replacement, so----the third trip. All that aside , the best price in a ten mile radius. The work was done at Woody's shop.

I bought my first house for me and my little girl. Who would I get to do this or that was my never ending internal question. First thing was new safety windows for the front of the house, my daughter's room is in the front and this made me nervous. My broker told me about this great window shop that had been in business forever, still family owned yadda, yadda, yadda. I called the number and was told to call another number because Patrick was on the road but would be able to swing by a give me an estimate. Ok first time buyers are petrified of getting ripped off, buying what they don't need and I certainly was no exception. Patrick came by when he said he would told me not to get the more expensive brand I was looking at, to get the less expensive because it was better quality, knew the local and federal tax breaks and even had the form for the city. "Don't mail it in, just walk over, take you about 20 minutes and you'll be done". And the cheaper (safety) windows matched the original architectural design of the house which was very important to me too. He had his assistant Jeff come over to start the job, super pro guy. Wouldn't even take a glass of water. When it came time to add the molding around the window, Jeff, a friend and I didn't think we needed it. Jeff calls Patrick, tells him I am going to pass on these little strips of wood and Patrick was there in 10 minutes. We all said it looked good without it then Patrick said, "let me ask you... are any of us knuckleheads reselling this house, no you are and the next guy is gonna want these. They're going up". Awesome, a guy who knows his stuff and moxie to boot. They replaced 5 windows in under 3 hours. Later that night I noticed this tiny piece missing from the blinds that are in my daughter's room. I called Patrick and asked if he or Jeff had it by any chance. "I don't think so, hang on...(as he rustled around in his truck)...oh man, how did I end up with this...I'll be right there". Unbelievable, there in 10 minutes again. He went as far as to put this piece back on the blinds when I gladly would have taken it at the door and done it myself. Checked the seals on all the windows, to make sure they were drying properly and when my daughter thanked him as he was leaving he said "don't thank me sweetheart, thank your Mom, she's the one doing all the hard work". COME ON, how can you not like that kind of service. So happy I bought a house in Burbank because so far all the family owned businesses in this town ROCK and Woody's Screen Center was the first to make me realize there still are Mom and Pop shops that truly care about you the customer. He is super busy so don't freak out if you have to call him once or twice in the beginning. He will get back to you and when he commits to a time and date he's there 150%. Do it, call, you won't regret it! Thanks for reading!!!
