I stopped by with the model number and the parts guy quickly ordered them for pickup. A few days later I stopped in again and got them.
The guy knew what he was talking about and was able to identify exactly what I needed. And the cost was very reasonable for what I needed.
I would definitely go back to them for service based on this experience.
In the last service, the oven went out and wasn't heating.It's an old oven and it needed some parts. The repairman, was able to diagnoes the problem and fix it quickly.
I really like these guys and I have never had a problem with them in all the time I've dealt with them
delivery and installation on the same call. Quick and decent, though the
man who did the pricing said he'd and quot;put one of the girlsand quot; on the phone
to arrange delivery, and I'm sure she was a grown woman.
They came when they said they would, not just within the window but
first--and called before they arrived, which was nice. The two delivery
men/installers were polite, professional and helpful.
They came out...and 3 weeks later ...I just now have my freezer repaired and it cost 20% more than the quote.
The highlights:
1. No written estimate. A verbal quote but when the bill came due, all of a sudden I owed 20% more than I was expecting. This is a big deal when you are talking about appliance repair. At $300 (what I was expecting) I figured I'd have it repaired...at $370 plus pain and suffering, I would have liked the opportunity to look at new frig/freezers.
2. Ordered the wrong part. Which is a bummer, but it wouldn't have made me write a bad review. The problem was that not one time did they call me to give me an update. I had to call every time. Is the part ordered? When do you expect it in? Is it in? When can we put it in? I probably called that office 8 times, they never called me one time proactively. And when it really counted, when they discovered the right part was more expensive, I sure didn't hear from them then.
3. The repairman has a 'you customers, you don't know nothing' kind of attitude. When I attempted to give him some real feedback, he argued with me and said...and quot;my family has been doing it this way for 30 years.and quot;
4. The service hours are rotten. I had to pay my sitter extra so she could be here during all 3 of the unpleasant visits.
I have to recommend you look elsewhere for your appliance repair service.
