I called The Foundation works originally because my Dad has hired them in the past, but my Fiancee and I had to write a review after we saw just how hard and efficient Matt worked during our foundation inspection. He was thorough and detailed in explaining his findings to us afterwards. We were very surprised to at just how fast his turn around time was in receiving the detailed report and estimates on repairs. It was clear and easy to understand. Unfortunately we did not movie forward with the purchase of the property, but we will 100% be contacting The Foundation works in the future for our next home inspection. Thanks again!

Project: Earthquake retrofit On initial visit, they answered all of our questions and concerns and gave us a complete description of the corrective work needed. For the job itself, the crew was prompt, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. A company representative was sent out during city inspection. We were able to take care of paperwork and payments online. The contracted price we received was significantly lower than one other company.

They were courteous, respectful, and answered our questions completely.

In only 2-1/2 days, they reinforced a buckled basement wall, rejoined the stairwell which was separated from that wall by a 40-plus-year-old tree root---performed a complete seismic boltdown on my Spanish-style 2BR bungalow---and without bankrupting me. All in all, good show!

Project: Repair cracks in foundation - the initial inspector explained what was specifically needed for my home without upselling with other bells and whistles. The repair crew was prompt, on time with proper permits in hand. Clean-up was commendable. Would highly recommend.
