It was wonderful all around. The work was done to perfection. The clock works perfectly and looks spectacular. They also took the time to teach me how to properly work the clock to keep everything running smooth.

The Eclipse Regulator clock is a family heirloom. It has been passed through the family since the early 1900s and was in nearly pristine condition until it was caught up in hurricane Sandy. I know this is California but the clock was in storage with a NY relative when the storm hit. The clock was fully submerged for some time on the night of the storm then lay in the salty mess for days during the recovery. By the time we got to it all we could do was wipe it down and wrap it up for storage. Several years later we finally got up the courage and money to unwrap the clock. The wood was nearly white in some places from water damage, the face was beyond repair, and every piece of metal was pitted or rusted, including the movement itself. Clock Specialists initially advised me that the repair was likely as much as the value of the clock. When I explained that it was one of the last threads to a family that was mostly gone, he took it to heart. He, and his family, took loving care of the clock. With the exception of the face, which needed to be replaced, every piece of the clock was kept original. The wood looks nearly new, the movement shines and runs like it is just from the factory, the hands are perfect, and the chime rings again. From lost and deserted in a dark closet it is once again going on our wall. Clock specialists not only repaired an heirloom, they helped us keep a tie to the past. The work was fantastic.

Sent iphone pic prior to coming with a description of clock and trouble I knew about. Came prepared to do repairs and more! Meticulous repair and great suggestions given for better care of clock. Family owned business, long time in area and will use him again when we move our other 5 clocks to our home.

better than I expected He also explained to me how and what I need to do to maintain and set it up.

Everything was working great for 1 week, until it stopped. I called him to follow up and he gave advice to adjust the pendulum. It started ticking afterwards, worked for a little while longer, then stopped. He said he would come back out for a service call but I declined. There was no guarantee after paying for the repair.

Greg found the problem immediately and performed a repair along with a long overdue cleaning and adjustment. He's knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Recommend The Clock Specialist highly.

It was fairly easy to make an appointment. The owner asked me all the appropriate questions on the phone prior to my appointment and knew just what to do when he arrived. He was punctual and very pleasant to deal with. He obviously knew what he was doing and showed me where my clock had become damaged. He fixed it and realigned it. Then he gave it a tune up. Now it runs good as new. I will definitely call him to come back when it is time for another service call.

I had several watches that weren't working because the batteries had died. All of the batteries were quickly replaced at The Watch Specialist. I was impressed by the speed and quality of the service. Also, the friendliness. I definitely recommend this company!

I have a clock that I paid quite a bit for. I liked the way it looked, but it quickly stopped telling time. Since I couldn't return it, I took it to The Clock Specialist to repair. It's clear that they really know their stuff! It was explained to me that the mechanism inside the clock was faulty (and had always been) and needed repair... and a completely new, lighter second hand, as the existing one was far too heavy for my clock. Now my clock looks good and works perfectly! I couldn't be more pleased.

Brought the clock in after it hadn't worked for years. Greg was able to get it fixed, and also gave me valuable tips on how to care for the antique wood housing the clock.

Really nice guy, he came to my house at the time we had discussed over the phone and he started taking the clock apart. It didn't take him to figure out what was wrong with it. He had everything he needed to do the job. I forget how long the job took but it wasn't long. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

It was a wonderful experience. Greg showed up on the day and time that he had promised, and worked for a full 1 1/2 hours. I strongly recommend him.

When I called Clock Specialist, I spoke to Greg's wife, Rose and set up an appt. date and time. Greg showed up on time and began working on my clock immediately. He wore a glove to protect the clock and was extremely careful with the clock parts he removed, cleaned and finally replaced. He finished within one hour, as he had told me it would take to repair my clock. I highly recommend Clock Specialist to future customers.

When I dropped the clock off, I was told an approximate repair cost, and that I would be called back. When I spoke to the woman later that day, she told me the cost and repair time. The clock was ready the same day, although I was not able to pick it up until another day. On picking it up, I was concerned about something, so the lady clearly explained how the clock works, which alleviated my concern, and the clock does, in fact, work fine.

I'd bought a movement for $6 at a crafts store to do the work myself, but it was the wrong size. He quoted me $35, which was the original price of the clock, but it had sentimental value so I went ahead. His work was fine. When I returned for it, I asked if he would also take a link out of my new wristwatch band (free service if I'd returned to the place of purchase, far away). I was disappointed that he charged me $12. Guess he needs every cent.

THE OWNER OF THE STORE WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING TO MY WATCH. VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE STORE WAS CLEAN, A LOT OF CUSTOMERS. IT WAS REALLY CHEAP FOR AN OLD WATCH THAT HE REPAIRED.

THE MAN THAT HELPED ME WAS A VERY NICE PERSON. THE SERVICE WAS FAST. I DID NOT EXPECT THE CHANGING OF THE BATTERY TO BE SO CHEAP. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE AT THE CLOCK SPECIALIST.
