Extremely poor service. I've seen other reviews elsewhere saying this company was good in the past, but my experience was anything but. A few weeks ago my AC started not cooling well. The air was cool but not cold. So I called Techno AC on Monday, August 28, 2017 and he said he'd be out the same day around 2-2:30pm, which I thought was great as it was the start of one of the hottest weeks of the year. 2:30pm rolls around and he didn't show up. I waited until about 3:35pm and called him, he said he was on his way and would be here soon. About an hour later he arrived. OK, busy time of year for AC service, so I cut him some slack. He recharged the AC coolant, and then informed me that a valve was stuck and not working properly; it would need to be replaced. Fine I said, how long would it take. He said since it wasn't an old model (about 6 years old) if they don't have it in stock he'd get it in 2-3 days. He also said the way the unit was now, the coolant recharge would only work well for about a week, 2 weeks at most. The week goes by, and I hear nothing from him. As the next weekend was Labor Day, I called him back the following Tuesday, Sept 5th. 'Oh let me get down to the place and pick up the part, I should be out in a day or so' he tells me. I thought he would have already gotten the part, but again I cut him some slack and waited. A week more. The next Monday, Sept 11th rolls around and again I have to call him to see what's happening. 'Oh, I'll be out there tomorrow morning.' Great! But on the next day, the 12th, 2pm rolls around and he's still not here. Yet again I call him, and this time he says 'Oh, I just need to talk to another of my guys to get him over there, I'll call you back in a few.' No call back, nothing. So I called him today, Sept 13th once again, and I get this routine that he can't hear me on my land line...which I immediately checked with a friend who had no trouble hearing me on his cell phone. At this point it was obvious that I was being strung along by this guy. I am wondering now if he even bothered to order the part. I understand that Summer is a busy time for AC repair people. But not once did this guy call me; not to say he was running late, not to tell me if the part was going to take a while to come in, not to tell me he couldn't make his morning appointment, not even when he said he would call me back. The guy simply didn't communicate with me at all about anything. Note that I wasn't angry or hostile with the guy and I have been patient with this nonsense for the last couple of weeks. But it's the most irresponsible way I have ever seen anyone run a business. So in the end after 2 1/2 weeks of basically zero communication on his part and an AC that is still just blowing cool not cold air, I'm out $250 dollars with this guy and I had to finally give up and go with another more reputable company. Use this guy at your own risk, or you could be out a few hundred dollars with nothing to show for it like I am.
