I hired Smart Yards to install artificial grass in our approximately 800 sq. ft. front yard (not a play area). The yard has gentle slopes with some steps which they had to grade to bring turf even with steps. Plus, had an area where a fountain sits with a bender board ring around it filled with small stones. They cut turf perfectly around the diameter plus did turf cut-outs of many larger irregularly shaped stepping stones leading to the fountain. The friendly crew did all grass removal, new rock/dirt install and compacting, capping sprinklers, adding weed cloth, turf install in all separate areas with bender board, power broom, and pro cleanup all in one day. Also did one tree irrigation. The owner, Paul Easley, was very helpful and did the job at a great price. Would defiantly recommend them!

Paul from Smart Yards was amazing! His quote was reasonable, he informed me thoroughly regarding the material to use for our pet and his workers were very prompt and professional. I would contact him in the future!

My turf project turned out great! Paul was super easy to work with. He contacted me immediately after I asked for bids on HomeAdvisor. I was in a hurry to get the job done so I appreciated that he came out to my house the next day to give me an estimate. He brought samples and explained very clearly what the job entailed. His crew was very professional and got the job done in one day. I highly recommend Smart Yards and Paul Easley.

Paul and his crew were amazing and worked well together. When I was making changes they never made me feel bad and always made the changes without a problem. The new putting green is the envy of my neighbors and a joy to have. Thanks Paul.

Paul and his team were fantastic. I did not quite know what I was getting into with this project but Paul was extremely helpful in explaining the options, process, etc. His bid was very detailed and straight forward - no hidden fees of any kind. Paul brought a full crew, and they had my new yard installed in 2 days. It looks great and I would highly recommend. Update: Updated review based on follow-up service (or lack thereof). Initial installation was great but I have encountered a few issues including flooding where a sprinkler was either not capped or was cracked under the yard and a rippling effect. Multiple calls and emails to Paul have gone unanswered over the course of several months. Extremely disappointing because Paul is a nice guy and the initial installation was fantastic. Crazy way to handle business.

Paul was such a pleasure to work with! We had a small job ~500 SQ ft. He scheduled to meet very quick, showed samples and a couple to keep as well. We e signed the documents and his team came within a week.
