Smart Yards - Artificial Turf & Putting Greens

Paul and his crew did a great job transforming our front yard with artificial turf. I would highly recommend Smart Yards. Great quality with a great price! What else can you ask for?

We bid a number of contractors, and Paul won our business for a couple of reasons. His crew was friendly, professional and fast! Originally we talked about the job being a couple of days, but (I assume) since he had fallen a bit behind schedule, he brought in a double crew, and they finished over 1000 square feet in one day. Everything was cleaned and looks amazing! A NOTE: I needed a pet friendly turf, and though many companies say they have, upon his recommendation and my research, I was completely sold on the brand he wanted to instal as being one of, if not the best, and we couldn't be happier, the dogs rough house on it, pee on it, poop on it, and it's doing great... and no nasty smells. It does heat up, but no way near what the back yard concrete heats to... the woven base tech, with incredible stats for drainage is working great to drain urine, and so far no smells, and haven't really needed to water it down yet (it's been at least 2 months at this point.

Paul and his team just finished replacing our weed ridden front yard with artificial turf and we are so happy with the finished product. From the estimate to the completed job, I can’t believe what a difference the new turf has made to the curb appeal of our home. Wish we’d done it sooner! Paul’s team works quickly but so thoroughly. We didn’t have much lawn to replace but challenging with the different levels and tons of crabgrass and weeds to navigate and old brick curb we needed to keep. The team treated our front yard with such care and left everything in better condition when they left. We would highly recommend Smart Yards to any of our friends and neighbors! Super happy!

initially, very well. Paul Easley was responsive, and the installation was fine. However, the turf has now developed any number of unsightly wrinkles. It took probably half-a-dozen phone calls/messages to get Paul to respond - he came to see the problem right before Memorial Day, and said he would arrange to have a crew come out and fix the problem after the holiday. After another dozen phone calls/e-mails, I have yet to receive any response at all from him.

I called Angie's List on Thursday to sign up and then called Paul at Smart Yards. He returned my call within an hour, He was here to measure the yard on Friday morning, and his crew was here on Saturday morning to install the astroturf. The three men did a great job! The work was completed in about 5 hours, and they totally cleaned up before they left. I would hire Paul and his crew again with out hesitation.

Paul was great at responding and providing a reasonable quote. Also, his workers were on time and did really professional work. I would definitely use Smart Yards again!

Paul & team were fantastic. I didn't quite know what I was getting into with this project but Paul was extremely helpful in explaining the options, process, etc. His bid was very detailed and straight forward - no hidden fees of any kind. Paul brought a full crew and they had my new yard installed in 2 days. It looks great and I would highly recommend.

Great job. Paul was so very nice to work with. At initial meeting he showed us numerous samples and explained the different products that we had to choose from. He met us at a project that was a similar installation so we could see the product in full size. His team was great. All friendly, very hard working and professional. We are thrilled with the end result - our yard went from “scorched earth” back to a lovely oasis.

We had a large area of grass that we've been struggling with for the 2 years we've owned our house and finally decided to go artificial or drought tolerant. After seeing how well our neighbor's artificial yard looked after 10 years we started getting quotes and found Paul here on AL as one of the three companies that quoted us out. He was punctual, friendly and explained the process as he took measurements. We had some challenges with old roots from a removed tree and an odd layout. He did his best to work with us and at the price he gave us compared to the other two we decided to schedule work in the next couple of days. The original plan was for a 2 day install which ended up being 2 and a half days but I honestly thought it would take longer and with the heat I was amazed how much his crew was able to get done. In short, the yard looks beautiful (cars are slowing down as they pass our house) and Paul and his crew were absolutely amazing. We would definitely hire him again if we needed more work done.

Paul was on time for the estimate... Very professional and knowledgeable... Showed us samples and discussed all aspects of install... Provided written estimate with all items and costs included... once I approved final estimate, the final contract was emailed and I was able to sign on line... The install date was two weeks later... Paul and his team arrived on time... The team worked hard for two days and we loved the result... Could not have asked for a better experience...

Great! We met with Paul from smart yards about a month before we did our project. He was very helpful and honest and offered reasonable prices. He gave us an estimate and explained the scope of work very well. The day of install a crew of about 10 guys showed up and did an amazing job. They worked through The Valley heat and left us with a really great looking front yard.

The only thing about them, they weren't local. I would not use this provider again, I prefer someone local.

We had gotten several quotes from reputable turf companies and while Smartyards wasn't the lowest price, they had the best customer service, someone that listened to and cared about our needs, and chose Smartyards out of Burbank. We got it all with Paul at Smartyards. I have and will continue to recommend him to friends and neighbors. Smartyards is licensed and insured too.

Paul and the young men on his crew couldn't be nicer and more professional. They lowered two drains to make sure the water would runoff properly and solved an unanticipated electrical problem with the spotlights. They were very thorough to make sure all was working before the final turf install. There was quite a distance to carry the dirt/grass from the dog run to the street and it was spotless when they left. I am very happy with the yard and Tuxie, my dog, loves it too. I would recommend them to anyone looking to install artificial turf. It was a pleasure to deal with Paul from start to finish. Glenda

We contacted Paul and within two days he stopped by our house to look at the back yard, show us artificial grass samples and explain the process of laying the artificial turf. He provided us with a quote. We did get quotes from other providers and while Smart Yards was not the cheapest they were willing to do the work for us within a one week turn-around which was what needed. I was able to negotiate on the price and timing and Paul was willing to work with us. The crew arrived and was able to complete the job within about 5 hours. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. The turf is fantastic!! We love it and looks better than we ever could have imagined. Our kids also love it and are constantly asking to play on the fake grass. It's like a nice green carpet to them - but it looks so real! Very happy with Paul and the services that Smart Yards provided!
