Working with Reita was a wonderful experience! She's had a wallpapering business for 50 years and is an expert, very quick and thorough. She is also delightful to talk to and have in your home. I can't imagine having wallpaper installed any other way!

I'm disappointed with the quality of the work. The paper I chose was a large, bold pattern and there are several parts where it doesn't line up. There's a tear in the paper, uneven edges and even a gap where the wall is visible. I thought I ordered enough paper based on the paper website. Reita said it wasn't enough. In an effort to save me from having to buy a new role, she did a patchwork of paper on one wall. It looks awful. I went and ordered a new roll and will have to hire someone else to strip that wall and re-paper it. I wish I had gone with a bigger company. I wish I could repaper the bathroom, but I'll have to live with it. It's a bummer because I was so excited to have it done, and now I just see the flaws and hate going in there.

As our schedule didn't allow for an "in person" estimate, Reita quoted us $200 over the phone and an appointment was set for the following week.  She arrived promptly with her tools (all she required from us was electricity, water and a trash can) and began work.  It was a big, hot, unpleasant job, involving peeling off the vinyl then steaming  the paper backing and scraping it off the walls.  She worked steadily without a break and did a thorough job of removal without damage to any of the plaster or wood surfaces.   The work area was left neat and clean.  As the job took longer than we all anticipated, we paid her $50 more than the estimate (although she hadn't asked for additional).   I wouldn't hesitate to call Reita again, or recommend her to a friend.  If I was to install wallpaper (maybe in my next life?) I would call her as well--I'll bet she's as good as putting it on as scraping it off.

Reita papered a bathroom with tricky dimensions and a pattern that called for someone who knew what they were doing which it seemed she did. Afterwards I noticed an uneven cut here, a slight mismatch there but chalked it up to the challenging pattern and maybe a little nit-picking so I let it go. A mon. later a seam began quite visibly separating. Reita came over and determined it was the fault of the wall and she could fix it but it would involve repapering (fortunately we had extra) and an extra charge. I said OK. When she removed the paper she said she'd have to do a little replastering. My handyman was there so I said he could do it but she said she could handle it. Long story short I am left with a very bumpy surface (as if the plaster wasn't smoothed out before repapering) on the room's most visible wall. She didn't charge me for this but she turned a bad problem into a much worse one. Short of repapering (assuming I could even find a match) I'll just have to live with it for now

Originally I thought it was OK, except for the fact that she was so unclear in her instructions about the quantity of paper required, I ordered DOUBLE the amount. (Who knew that wallpaper usually is packaged in double rolls? Not Reita, apparently.) When she came back to do the 2nd room, she wanted to see her work on the previous job. Upon close inspection. It was clear that there were severe flaking of the pigment off the wallpaper in spots all around the room leaving blotches of jagged white paper. I thought that it could be the fancy paper itself, but further testing by the manufacturer put the blame elsewhere. Upon further inspection, it was clear that Reita had not adequately rinsed all the paste off the paper and this I believe is what lead to the flaking which took 3 days of hand retouching on my part. I also had to have her back a 2nd time on the smaller job to redo the ventilation grates and switch plate covers which were loose and badly fitted.

Reita did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. On time and on her quoted price. She paid attention to the details.

She was wonderful! She called back right away, came for an estimate, gave me advice on how to prime the walls (which I wanted to do myself to save money). She worked very well with my schedule, and she arrived on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned up well. The paper looks great, and I really enjoyed working with her. Her estimate for the job was $100 cheaper than a larger painting company that I also consulted. Since she works alone, she doesn't have the overhead costs, I would presume.

Reita is a delight! She came out to give me an estimate, and I liked her right away. Her price was fair, and she showed up exactly when promised, both for the estimate and the subsequent work. The job was well done. I would definitely hire her again.

THE MAN WAS POLITE. HE MADE SURE I KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE PICKED UP AFTER HIMSELF AND GAVE ME A BOOK OF DIFFERENT WALLPAPER TO PICK FROM FOR NEXT TIME.
