PARTEE PAINTING

It was the worst experience of my renovation. From the beginning I asked for egg shell paint and they refused asking us to trust them and that they know their paint (which they don't). It's barely two months later and its stained and dirty...exactly what they promised would not happen. The contract was so many pages long that I didn't see that it said "trim work not included" and after discussing the colors of the trim work with them in detail... I simply expected it to be included. Tim, the head of the company kept touting himself as a contractor and as I'm new from out of town I needed contracting services. He charged us 75 dollars an hour to interview a plumber who showed up drunk and an electrician who kept making appointments with us and then never showing up. It's really great scam for him. I had to request them to come back 5 times to fix places they missed and still, now that all is done, there are tons of problems. My trim work is chipping and faded already. The paint is un-washable so any marks are permanent (which they promised would not be so). I paid extra to have my kitchen cabinets painted which they promised would be the best work I'd ever see, and they are already chipping in multiple places. The workers were enormously unprofessional and moody and one of them cursed at me while working in MY home.

A LOT OF DIALOG AS TO HOW THE PROJECT WAS TO PROGRESS, BUT LITTLE SUBSTANCE. THE MAJORITY OF PAINT APPLICATION WAS DONE USING AIRLESS, WHICH I FEEL THEY LACK EXPERIENCE IN OPERATING, ESPECIALLY WITH THE ENAMEL WORK. IN CONCLUSION THE FLAT WALLS ARE "OKAY" WITH ONLY MINOR LUMPS OF PAINT, BUT THE WOODWORK IS DULL WITH A SLIGHT GRITTY FEEL. AS TO THE "OVER SPRAY," WELL THE CEILINGS ARE WHITE, THE WOODWORK IS WHITE, AND ITS ALL WITHOUT SHINE.
