They went three months over the expected deadline in the contract. Emails to their main office were ignored. Many excuses were given. Unprofessional, find someone else to do your work.

We initially had him quote us for a different project, but we pivoted to the kitchen and have been so thrilled with the end result! Everyone was so respectful and the job was completed on budget and within timeline! Thank you Novel Remodeling!

Dear [member name removed], We have recently received your review and would like to go over our procedure and better explain why we did not arrive. We schedule an estimate on 07/09/2014 04:00:00 PM. We have been attempting to get in contact with you since July 8th, and you refuse to answer our questions to qualify for our free estimate. We also have left you a voice mail which we never heard back. Our company has no minimum on what project we take on. If we had the opportunity to confirm your project we would have come out. It appears that you might have been confused with another remodeling company. Its completely outrageous that you have bad experience with another company and blame us for their incompetence. This review is slandering our company and since we did everything right on our end we rather not forward this to our legal department. Please go forth and remove this complaint.

Description of Work: I only got as far as asking for an estimate. They made the appointment for 6pm. I thought it was going to go well because they were very good on the day of the estimate, calling in the morning to make sure the time was still good for me. Then they called again @ about 5:30 and said the estimate person was going to be "a little" late due to traffic. To me, "a little late" is 10-15 minutes. Finally, @ 6:50, when they still weren't here, I tried calling the cell phone # of the person that called me to tell me they'd be " a little late"...no answer, and no response to a message I left. I put a note on the door to let the person know that I had to leave. I did this @ 7:10 - HE STILL WASN'T HERE. They never returned my call - never called to apologize. If this is any indication of their service level, I'm VERY glad I didn't bother with them. In my opinion, they had no respect for my time.

Dear [member name removed], I would like to give you an example of a schedule appointment time from a cable company or even a telephone company. Generally they provide a 6 hour window of when a technician will arrive. Have you ever wondered what the reason for the window is? Let me explain. The window is provided for the homeowner not to get upset when life happens. Technician like contractors have generally a very hectic schedule of dealing with multiple things at the same time. To address your complaint directly we respect your time and have given you a much shorter window then what other larger firms generally do. We did try to keep you informed by calling you back when our contractor was late. Our contractor was running late after dealing with another project. Things like this occur in life and that is why our scheduled appointments are a rough estimate. We did offer our toll free phone# and did let you know where we could be reached. The caller ID you attempted to call is a computer generated phone number which cannot be reached. That is why you had a hard time getting through. However, we have a recording that does go over our company information and our toll free number. We hope you understand that life does happen and hope you reconsider your position. We do go out of our way to provide potential clients with our free estimate and we hope you value this as most contractors do not. Please reconsider your position and remove this review. Manny and Ben came to give me a bid, they tried really hard to get me to sign the contract to hire them, I ended up agreeing to hire them the same day. 4 days later they tell me that they made a mistake on the material cost and try to convince to change the project completely. They are trying to back out of the contract after I have given them a deposit and it has been signed by both of parties.

There was a mistake in the pricing that the project manager had presented to you. After a company review of the project we found out that the price was not accurate. We wanted to be honest and upfront with you in regards to what we found out. Unlike some of the other firms in the market today, we informed you of the situation before we started the project to avoid future misunderstandings. We recommended a different product at a lower cost that was approved by you, however, you requested more work which took the project out of budget again. Therefore, we mailed out your deposit immediately with a letter attached explaining the situation. We apologize for any misunderstandings and hope you understand this situation.

Through out the time we had the project going on, the service was great. The installers were very professional, neat, honest, and right on time. My husband and I feel great knowing we can trust the company with our eyes closed. Through out the project, they would sent the manager to make sure everything is working fine. Once the project was done, our bill was as low as $5 a month. It is honestly one of the greatest investments made. Thanks again Novel, I would definitely give them a 5 star and recommend them to others.
Description of Work: I had Novel Remodeling send me a representative for an estimate for Solar Panels. My husband and I were paying over $400 for electricity and we thought solar panels would be our best option to minimize the bills. So I had the rep come in and I did check with a few other companies, and I must say that I felt very pleased and comfortable with Novel Remodeling. My husband, Gerald and I signed the contract and had them start the project immediately.

Remodeling was great from start to finish. They did a bathroom and laundry room remodel for us which looksgreatl, The work was completed on this job right before Memorial Day weekend. What a difference! The workmanship of all of the tradesmen that worked our job is top notch. I highly recommend this company
