The first job was the electrical upgrade and as I went forward on my remodeling projects I would call him in for the other jobs. His wife frequently works with him but usually she does the office work. When the inspector came to look at the upgrade, he smiled and said he could tell by the quality of work that this was done by "one of the old guys." (Meaning that today they tend to cut some corners.) Maki spent his life doing industrial and commercial work and recently retired. He is an electrical contractor. I think his prices are fair, but he may not be the cheapest around. He will do a good job and it will pass inspection. From my experience, he is honest and will not cheat you. And that's important since I know very little about electrical thing.
Description of Work: Upgraded my old (1920) electric service to match the DWP line in. Installed 3 sets of security lights and 5 exterior porch lights. Installed 3 ceiling fans and 3 inside lights (2 ceiling & 1 wall). But not all these at one time.
