I called Alfonso to schedule in a few days. it wasn't an emergency call so I thought I'd make an appointment. He said he could be here in 2 hours so I said great!
When he arrived (on time, confirmed call time twice, once when he was 30 min. out) I explained all the problems I was having he called out immediately what would cause each problem and started fixing things! 
ode.I ran out for the pressure valve and picked up his son along the way. What a sweetheart of a young man. He snaked out the drains while his father changed out the pressure valve as he had already fixed the commode.
I am thrilled! Cleaned up beautifully. Chatted but worked quickly.

A little hard to get an appointment due to the holidays. I kept trying to get him to come out since he was recommended by a coworker and I am glad I stuck with it. He may sound a bit abrupt on the phone but he was a darling when he finally showed up to the house. My kitchen sink was badly stucked up and he had to use the heavy duty snake (thourhg my clean-out) for close to 30 minutes to get it cleared, 100 feet. My toilet was also clogged up and he snaked it clear really fast. Loved to talk about his family and how the initials of his company are the first letter of each of his children's names. His sidekick was his son and it was wonderful to see them in action. I love familyowned businesses.

We had a foul smell (septic) coming from the laundry room at the back of the house. Of course, the first thing we wanted to do was have the pipes snaked. After talking to two companies that tried to rip us off ($600 smoke test; $250 to snake the pipes) and one that didn't show up when promised (Action One -don't use!), my husband lucked out and found Al. He was able to come over immediately and he snaked the pipes for a half hour straight for $50. The smell is gone. My husband said he was great, totally professional, honest and hard working. He said he would absolutely use him again.

Al came over in under a half hour. As always, I ended up chatting with him for almost an hour. Al loves to chat and show off his kids. He needed a part and had to run to Lowes but came back right away. He did a great job and my kitchen sink works. He offered to clean up but I was planning on cleaning anyway so I declined. I will use him again.

Tried to replace a bathroom faucet ourselves. Realized we were in over our head when we couldn't even turn off the water shutd off valve. Called Al. He came by in 30 minutes. I am glad I did. The project was more complicated than expected. Al moved through the project quickly and noticed a lot of things I couldn't have done. The faucet was perfectly installed. Something we couldn't have done. Al also replaced the central shut off valve to the house. Made fast work of swapping out old broken apparatus and replaced with better equipment. He was super friendly and a completely different experience that other plumbers we have had in the past. Most personable home repair person we have met.

My kitchen sink was backing up and just when I was about to call a rooter service the washing machine drain backed up. I dicided I did not want to use a chain rooter company as I have in the past since most times they want to sell you an addition service and of course at an additioanal service charge. I then signed on Angies list to find a local plumbing rooter service. I selected JPM plumbing and Rooter Burbank ,CA (818)-846-7586,They showed up at time we agreed upon the owner gave a me a cost of work to be done which I ageed upon then Owner and his son went right to work on both drains. Owner (AL) also whent under the house (crawl space)to inspect all drain pipes and advised me of some possible future pipe replacement . House built in 1956 Workers were courtous,did what they said they would do at the price they saidl and left work area clean when completed. I would call JPM and I would recomend them to friends.

He came immediately to my home, was polite, had a clean new truck with all the equipment needed and got right down to the job. He moved the washing machine to check the lines, then started to snake the pipe from outside. As we talked during the process I had come to find that his company was 20+ years old residing in Burbank. He services several businesses along Magnolia Blvd, including a Real Estate Business for many years. About 4 months later, I called him for another appointment at another house in North Hollywood, with a very noisy garbage disposal. The fix was so easy for him, he cut down his service call minimum. The owner Al is really a kind, friendly and honest, and professional. I have owned my home for 30 yrs and have had a lot of workers down through the years, so I have complete confidence recommending JPM to my friends. What a find for me. Without a referral, I was quite lucky.

It was excellent. He was fast, efficient, and polite. I have had several people work for me in the past, but he is the first one that I would recommend others.
