Because I'm aware of the power of a review I gave myself a cooling off period before writing this. First off, Mr. Snowden contracts the work to someone who then contracts the workers. In effect you're paying two middlemen. I thought the price was high (almost $1200 each for a studio apartment, but for what I was promised (patch and paint, furniture and furnishings put back in place, done in a timely manner) I was willing to pay. Unfortunately the promises weren't fulfilled. The three units are vacation rentals, and due to delays I lost a significant amount of income. Additionally, pictures and mirrors were put back in odd places, and I'm still scrubbing paint splatter off the hardwood floors, shower doors, granite counter tops, grout, and appliances. The paint job otherwise is good, though the patching is quite sloppy. I had guests checking in and so couldn't hold the units open any longer for the belated offer of rectifying the situation, particularly as the job had already been delayed. I was/am extremely disappointed.

A terrific job of both painting the exterior and sealing the roof with expert knowledge. Ready to make sure I am pleased at every turn brings confidence in a job well done with people that take the time to care. I would recommend this company as well as ask them to rerun for more project that fit their expertise. Thank you for a job well done.

John Holden is a fantastic contractor. His bid was fair, his communication throughout the process was wonderful, he delivered exactly what we wanted in the timeframe we wanted, and the quality of the work was outstanding. Arrived and finished on time, honored quotation price, color matches were perfect and surfaces were painted as discussed. Great follow up and overall was very professional. We would hire them again! Thank you John and your team.

The follow up with the job was great. The workers for the company were great. We are going to be hiring them again for interior painting. Over all they were outstanding, highly recommend them.

John was very prompt and got right down to business.

John oversees the workers well and they were always on time, did what they were supposed to, and everything worked out great. When he was finished he said if we were not satisfied to contact him. We were very satisfied.

John's paint crew was excellent. They did a superb job on the painting and also repaired many things that needed were repaired. I will use them again.

Overall they did a good job. I was a bit frustrated because it went on longer then they said it would. I have an old house, however, so I do understand that it was not as easy to paint as new construction. Some parts, they seemed to rush through and so the finish did not come out as well. Also, their cleaning up was not that great. However, when I did point out what needed to be fixed, they did come back and fix everything. So overall, they did a good job. I would recommend them but would check that everything you asked for was done.

Paint job was excellent. Crew was excellent to deal with. The job was worth the money paid and we would hire this contractor again.

High touch- excellent service- very good quality of work

Painting was my initial request, but John and his crew repaired all the warped wood panels and deteriorating window frames with expertise. He actually supplied and repaired items that weren't on the original estimate at not cost. He also pointed out roof issues that I wasn't aware of and gave me an estimate that worked into my budget. Real class act!

John's crew showed up on time and was pleasant to deal with. John was very focused on my as a client and helped me understand the project and set expectations. The estimate was in line with what I thought the job should be worth, and they worked hard until it was done. I would hire John and his crew again.

They are very good with the details.

The paint job looks really great. They are very neat and clean and even cleaned paint off the windows from the last paint job. They did a wonderful job and masked everything.
