At Green Conception, we are more than just solar installers. When you choose to go solar with us, we offer re-roofing, electrical panel upgrade, battery back-up and EV charger installations in combination with your solar system. I like it a lot, I like think a lot of people this will be probably my first and only experience with solar, I have nothing to compare it against, I don't think the research online and looking at other people's review gives the whole story but the reality is not unpleasant it, there is a combination of reasons why I like it, Green Conception offered the largest panel, the other panels were smaller and didn't produced enough power.
No problems it's just that I expected, I didn't realize utilities would charge you even though your generating more power than your using, you get charge for that. I was still down even after they said yeah your gonna get charged twelve bucks month if you generate more power than you use, also the fluctuation is much wider than I thought, on a cloudy day it's like power really drops off on a sunny day like in the summer my God I produce all kinds of power in the summer so it's a huge wide range of what you produced when the day is longer and it's sunny wow your gonna generate a lot of power and that's gonna make up for months like October and November and probably December I have no experience with December yet but I expected it to be paying for electricity. If it goes up and you look at the bill it shows a running account of you have the option of paying for what you use that's beyond you power system is generating or you could do it annually.
I got ten quotes and they were to my surprised the lowest quote, they gave me the best panels.

Do interview other companies - I interviewed 7 all together.
Do see actual examples of prior installations and speak with references.
Do understand your current electrical consumption needs, especially what consumes power and when it uses power. Use solar system to offset as much consumption as possible during solar power generation window. Try to estimate future use needs (like owning an electrical car) and include those estimates in system sizing.
Do PURCHASE your system. DO NOT LEASE! The financial benefits only work when you own the system. They referred me to a financing company that offered reasonable terms for the loan.
Do clean your panels every 3 months with hose and water. If possible, use extension pole with mop-type head (rinse, mop, rinse) during morning or early evening for best systems results (if panels get dirty, they're less efficient and generate less power).

The panels were installed quickly and professionally by Andre and his crew in mid-March. So it took a month for the company to work through whatever issues they had, and although we did have several tense conversations with Nick, I have to say, he really hung in there and got it done.
Working with Brett Hershey and Andre initially was easy and delightful.

Green Conception, owned and managed by Nick Keshishian, did an outstanding job getting my solar panels up and running here in Burbank. Green Conception is a relatively small outfit and I wasn't ready at first to take a chance with a small company; I thought, maybe a big company like Solar City would be better. I was afraid if I went with Green Conception, and the company went belly up, I'd be stuck if I needed maintenance or support in the future. But after my first meeting with Nick my instinct told me he was the right person for the job. And I haven't regretted my decision yet.
I have a 2-storey home about 2900 square feet. Nick proposed a system with 22 rooftop solar panels and 22 micro-inverters with a total rating of 4.5 KW peak. So far I've only achieved 3.5 KW at noon with a daily average energy production of about 20 KWH because this is the dead of winter, the days are short and the sun is way down in the southern hemisphere. But I'm looking forward to production rising in the summer months. There were some obstacles to overcome during installation, particularly after the Burbank inspector came by. But Nick and his crew were there almost every day to handle the problems. Each time the inspector had an issue (some as minor as the font size of the lettering on warning signs, some more significant) Nick or his crew came by to address the problem and make the fix, sometimes at night after working hours. I was impressed by Nick's devotion to getting the job done and getting it done right. After final inspection and approval by Burbank Water and Power, I'm now connected up and converting energy from the winter sun to electricity for my home. Nick is honest, hardworking and trustworthy. I recommend Green Conception to anyone considering solar energy for their home or business.
I also contacted 2 of the references they provided and drove by one house to verfiy the work they did. They gave me address of 3 locations to check, but I only checked once.
After siging up with them it took about 2 months to complete work as city permits were necessary.. They did a very good and clean job. The complete installation took only two days.

Nick Keshishyan of Green Conception, Inc., did a fantastic job of locating these hard-to-find and outdated windows (the type the HOA named and required had actually been bought out by a new company, so they were difficult to locate).
Nick was friendly, punctual, and professional. He came over right away to do measurements, etc., and ordered the window right away, explaining exactly what would be done, how long it would take for the ordered window to arrive, and suggested an easy-fix-it in order to make a (required) beige frame fit in with my white kitchen.
Nick stayed in touch to update me on the status of the ordered window, and when it arrived, came over the next day to install it himself. He did a fantastic job and the window looks and works perfectly.
Since I'm also considering re-doing a second bathroom, Nick also took the time to provide suggestions as to how to give it an updated look on a budget. I look forward to working with his company on the bathroom as well, as they are a full home-improvement service company.
He even took the time to bring me a very kind Happy Birthday card when I mentioned the installation date was my birthday!
Highly recommended.
