The recent high winds damaged the back yard wood fence between me and my neighbor and having seen the many "Glendale Fence" signs on places all around us I called Mike and Doug right away. They came out to give an estimate and noted what we wanted. There were existing brick columns that needed to be demo'd and all the old fencing to remove. The new fence would use steel posts instead and we wanted a walk gate added so the neighbor's dog can come to play with out dog easily. They came when they said they would, their quote was reasonable and the job was finished as promised without any hassle. The crews they sent out -- one for the brick demo and another to do the new fence -- were both really fantastic and did excellent work! The gate works flawlessly on its steel frame. My neighbor and I are both highly impressed with the result. The cleanup after was also good. I definitely endorse these folks for their work ethic and craftsmanship.

Despite having to work around all of the rain, the job was completed in a timely manner. We added items late in the job and they were able to accommodate. Doug & Mike were a pleasure to work with as was Freddy & their crew. We appreciate giving business to local Burbank businesses. The only negative is I wish they would also add stain & seal to their services.

The initial installation went well. About a year after the installation the gates began to droop and would no longer close. I attempted to reach them by phone no less than ten times. Each time I left a message leaving only my phone number with no explanation of why I was calling. They never called me back. Finally I spoke to someone, and the told me that I would have to pay $175 per gate in order to have them fixed properly. They claim to stand by their work but they don't.

I was very pleased with the process and the end result. A yard fire burned part of my fence. I decided to replace the burned part plus another 50 feet of fence since it was not in good shape. I received an estimate from Mike. He helped me decide the type and size of fence. He sent two workers who were excellent. They were nice men and very skilled. They cleaned up all the burned wood and ash, removed 50 or so feet of old fence and installed a new redwood fence. It was a lot of hard work, which they did with a good attitude and dedication. There were concrete footings that needed to be dug out. A bothersome neighbor annoyed them with his comments, but they handled him politely. It was a two-day job and when completed they cleaned up everything very well and left me with a beautiful new fence.

We live in a hilly area on an old property. The fencing around a portion of our property was old and incapable of containing our dogs. Glendale Fence responded quickly to my call and Mike provided a bid with three different options. We agreed on one option and his crew showed up on the appointed day and got to work.

They were punctual, professional and did a very nice job.

Professional estimate. Moved the fence ok but top arc of gate was cut funny. To correct this they moved the pieces higher and re-cut correctly but we are left with larger than desired space under fence. We had to call them out after 3 weeks and again after 2 months because the gate would sag and hit ground. On the second visit they placed more durable (appropriate) hinges to stop sagging but by this time some wood cracked from dragging on ground and fence not closing correctly.

They worked with me on the price, stayed on schedule (actually even started a day early), and did good work.

Came on time to do the bid. Wrote up the bid on the spot. Understood and complied with my requests, plus gave me sound advice. Came back and rewrote the bid to mollify the neighbor, who will be sharing the cost. Workers came on time, did beautiful and efficient work, listened to me and did as I asked, and left the site absolutely pristine. Worth every penny. I actually keep going into the backyard, to admire my new fence. How I wish, that they did other types of construction, I would hire them for everything!
