GENERAL APPLIANCE REPAIR INC

The absolute worst home repair service I've ever had. By far. The repair person came to work on our Bosch dishwasher, which stopped running mid-cycle. He spent 15 minutes, and $215 or our money supposedly replacing a valve and a sensor, and it still didn't start back up until he ran an extension cord to another outlet. I'm certain the outlet was the only problem and that this guy totally scammed me. Our electrician (who is awesome - The Electrician Magician) came out to look at the bad outlet, and he agrees that the guy took me for $215. Live and learn.

Easily the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I made an appointment for Saturday morning between 9 and 12 and got a call at 11:45 saying the technician was held up and could he come later. Fine, at least he called. We rescheduled for between 4 and 8 and I got a call saying he had car trouble, could we do Sunday? I grudgingly agreed, because he sounded like he was genuinely stressed out about missing the appointment. We rescheduled for between 4 and 8 on Sunday and the guy never showed and never called. When I called on Monday to complain and reschedule, the manager was unbelievably rude on the phone and actually hung up on me. During the conversation I had asked whether they were on Angie's List (the answer was no, which I guess serves me right), so his parting shot was "oh yeah, and say hi to Angie for me."
