I liked him very well. I thought he was meticulous. Very personable and clean. I couldn't believe that the same day I was having a luncheon he was coming to do the work. He went through, did the work, and cleaned up well. I will definitely use him again.

It went great! This is the 2nd time I've used Fairfax Heating & Air. They found the problem and the cause quickly. The AC filter was clogged and the unit froze over. He instructed to turn on the heater to defrost the unit quicker, and offered to stay, or show me what to do after it defrosted (and save $ by not having to pay him for more time). I'm a handy guy, so I took his instructions. I trust this guy, and will call him again if the need arises.

It went great. I think David did a good job. My tenant thought that his A/C was not performing as it should. I had another firm check out the system a little over a year ago so I was vaguely familiar with the system.
David was on time (early actually) and I think did a thorough job inspecting the systems. He found that on my tenant's system that the duct for the air return had come partially off of the air intake vent (something the previous firm did not check at all) which may have been responsible for the reduced performance of the system. He fixed the duct and also fixed some of the ducts in the attic craw space that had been compressed by previous workers.
He also noticed the lower unit furnace had 2 burners that were kaput, and is checking to see if they are still available (22 year old furnace)
Overall I was very pleased and think he's a very trustworthy provider.
I'll be using him again.

I called to describe my problem (A/C was working but thermostat wasn't shutting off automatically) and they were able to schedule my appointment for the next day. Technician arrived on time (he called before he came, as promised) and tested my thermostat. Testing the A/C and thermostat took some time, given that my windows allow a lot of heat into the unit and cooling the air takes some time. Upon discovering that the thermostat in fact did not turn off automatically, he installed a new thermostat and tested it before leaving. Very professional handling all around, reasonable price for the amount of time he spent at my place.

This company is outstanding. We've used them a few times. The first time, we thought we needed a new air conditioning unit, but they were so honest that they told us we simply needed to replace some fluid. The second time we asked for a new unit, they had exercised integrity again and told us we needed to replace a hose/line. FINALLY, it died and we actually needed it replaced but they gave us a very fair and competitive price. They are honest, kind, professional, on time and efficient. The best.

David came out the week prior to check out the old unit and measure for the new one. He arrived right on time, calling me when he was getting close to the townhouse.
On the day of installation, he and his team were, again, right on time. They installed the new unit (using a crane and removing the old one) and installed the new one (including new wiring and PVC drain line hook up) in just half a day. When done, they tested the unit, hauled the old one away, and cleaned up.
David, and his team (Luis and Oscar) were professional at all times and did a fantastic job.
We have a number of rental units and plan on using Fairfax Heating and Air for general maintenance and repairs for them as well. Impressed with the service and the price.

I called David the owner of Fairfax Heating and Air conditioning to see why I am not getting cold air from the Central A/C. Despite his busy schedule as he just got back from vacation, he was was able to fit me without much delay. He was there on time the day we set the appointment complete with all the testing equipment and instruments he needed to determine the problem. We went to the roof to examine the old unit and was able to immediately determined that the unit was shot. However, he still went to open it up to show me that it was really time to replace it. He was very thorough and patient in explaining to me the problem and what was the best and less costly alternative. He also went to great length to examine the rest of the unit inside the premises. He also suggested to replace the thermostat to assure that the whole system will work most efficiently. Not long after, he gave the final price which was close to his estimate and we firmed the installation date. He was again on time, he spent the whole day to install the new unit. He is very thorough, does an excellent workmanship, and he seems to really enjoy what he does. He is also the nicest person to deal with, very patient, very professional, and takes a lot of pride of his work. He truly does an excellent job, I highly recommend this company.

They are an old family owned business and I like that. They did a great job.
