Neil, the owner, honored the warranty on work that was paid for by the sellers of the house my wife and I purchased just over a year ago at which time a wooden overhang by the side of the house was treated to remove carpenter bees.  Technically, Neil could have refused, making the point that it was a problem recently created by a new bee.  Neil is extremely knowledgeable and gave us much advice on our situation.  He said there could be a nest close by in a rotting tree so we'll be on the lookout.....The technician, Kevin, went above and beyond to thoroughly assess the situation, spray the hole with 2 chemical agents and plug it up and then spray the eaves to keep away other insects.  He was also very eager to answer all questions we had about this and other issues relating to the woodlands area where we live.  I would highly recommend Neil and Kevin for the outstanding job they did.  Thanks!

Neil Thornhill was so pleasant to deal with as well professional and knowledgeable.  He communicated with me before and during the entire process. He informed me of what preparation I had to do prior to tenting. And, his price was absolutely fair!  
Juvenal and his team handled the tenting process.  He was such a gentleman, professional, trustworthy, and also kept me informed of the process.  There was absolutely no damage to the exterior of my home or plants with the tenting process.

I wouldn?t recommend this company.  1) Comments by 2 other service providers on the positioning of rat traps by the front of the crawl space entrance was that it was lazy and took no time at all, 2) The technician was supposed to call back but couldn?t be reached for weeks, 3) There was misunderstanding with the office about scheduling the latest appointment, 4) The office receptionist was asking me questions which would have been quickly answered by pulling my file, 5) The owner, Neil, though knowledgeable, could not handle the complaints and opted not to confront them, 6) The monthly maintenance charge was to be  $68, higher than other highly-rated pest control companies.  Overall, a disappointing experience.  Although it is on Angie?s List, we didn?t find it there.  It was recommended to us by a friend.  There are other pest-control companies on Angie?s List with many more A-rated reviews, easier to do business with and at less cost.   We just contracted with one of them.

I called and Neil was very helpful.  He gave a  quote over the phone, they came within a few days (based on my availability).  He said that the bugs were likely coming in from outside, and suggested some methods to seal up the house, and natural orange oil that I could spray to deter them.  They came and did the job, and did not pressure me to have continuing service.  Their quote was 1/3! of the price of other companies I called, and they did not pressure me/use scare tactics to have bi-monthly treatments. 
Since this is the first time we had found more than one roach in the house, I was pleased to just have them come in and do a single treatment. We haven't had any issues since then. 
Overall they were very courteous, punctual, and they did a thorough job.  They even offered to do our detatched garage at no additional charge, which I thought was very nice of them.  We declined, as our cats were hiding out in there, until we had the all clear for the house.

I heard a rodent thrashing around in my attic early this morning. I figured it was caught in a trap I set about a year and half ago. I'd been meaning to call a pest control company to inspect my house anyway, so I called Evans Pest Control. I talked to Neil Thornhill who was very professional and responsive. He said he'd have a sevice guy come out the same day. Three hours later, Kevin called me and said he'd meet me at my house. He promptly removed the rat from my attic, did a full exterior house inspection, and filled a small hole in an exterior house vent screen. He was courteous, friendly and very professional. They come out quarterly, and they have nothing special. I do not have anything to compare the price to, and I have been using them for 20 years now.

They do a great job.

They came out and did a decent job.  But I had to get someone else in to do the right job.  They recommended that company to me.  I had a problem with bees.  So they came and killed them with chemicals.  I am a first time home owner.  I didn’t know what was going on.  The chemicals just killed what was there.  But they didn’t open up the roof, go in and take out the beehive.  All the bees came back.  They do the bee killing but they don’t do the full removal.  So they had to recommend somebody else to come out.  They did the entire bee removal, took the entire beehive out, captured and released the bees.  They did everything.  They were nice and good.  I would not call them again.  They were nice and professional.  If their business included beehive removal and capture and release, they would get a lot more repeat business.  I would then recommend them.  They just sprayed chemical and it was dead bees all around.  If they did capture and release, it would be more of a natural thing to do.  I would say overall they didn’t do what I wanted them to do.  Their follow up was good.  They did get me a refund because they had to get someone else coming out.  Overall they were good.  I wish they did a different thing but may be that is not their business plan.  So I can't judge them for that.  I had to pay someone else.  If I had known that other person first, I would have just paid him.  So I ended up paying double.  They came on time and they called me which I liked.

Scott came out to our home and found evidence of termites and recommended some minimal injection-style termite fumigation.  We also found some pretty significant dry rot damage to several eaves of our house.  He recommended that we replace the eaves.  A few days later I received the estimate and then a few days after that we started the work.  Scott always arrived on time and answered all my questions and addressed my concerns.  His carpenter was late which caused the work to be delayed, but at least Scott was around and obviously frustrated as well.  Once the work got underway, I was pleased with how it proceeded.  All the repairs look great and the work is of the highest quality.  There is no way anyone would even notice that large chunks of the eaves have been replaced.  Everything looks seamless.  Also, the sub-floor repair was done to my satisfaction. 

In addition, I have started using Evans for my quarterly pest control.  They always show up without issue and the stuff they spray really works.  We had big bug issues before they started coming and now I hardly see any pests on our property.

They were fine and did their job.  They were very professional.  They told me exactly what I needed to know and they seemed to have a wider ray of different options in terms of chemicals that wouldn't affect things that I was worried about.

They were excellent, and their prices were reasonable. They weren’t very good at communicating. They did the work, but they didn’t call me to let me know that they had done the work; that is the only complaint I have. I had used them before, about two years ago, and I liked them. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were very specific with what needed to be done.  I really appreciated how up front they were with the urgency of the issue.  They did a great job and would I would definitely recommend them.  Neil, the owner, really tries to give you what you want.  The employees also live up to their expectations.

Accomodates when I can be home. Covers all of the areas including along a slope drain. If there is a problem during the quarter, someone will come out and respray the problem area.

They came out, serviced my garage and outside areas with some stuff- I'm not even going to try to remember what is in it- it smelled a lot like spearmint, though. They come monthly now, and I haven't seen a bug in the house since they started. 

When the inspector (Fredo) checked my house, he was very thorough, spending a long time carefully inspecting and pointing out evidence of termite presence, and at the same time, asking questions that might help explain the damage. I felt great trust and confidence in his judgment and advice. He was articulate, clear, and specific in explaining each spot of termite evidence he noticed. He asked to check areas that I didn't previously think I had termite damage, and indeed, I saw clear evidence of the damage, even some termites, which I previously would not have recognized as such. All responsibilities on both our parts were clearly explained. Workers were careful, courteous, and very professional. When the work was finished, everything was as clean as they found it.

The estimate was straight forward and a fair price for the work completed. Neil answered all of my questions and addressed concerns to satisfaction. The job took about 4 days and went smoothly. The workers cleaned up each day and were very professional. They did a great job and did not have to be supervised. There were no complaints from the tenants or owners while the work was in progress.

They do the monthly spraying for termite infestation. The work is good. What we like about the owner and the group is that they are pretty straightforward. They don?t obscure things. We spent about $50. It is a fair price. We will use them in the future.

They charge me for a quarterly service. During my last conversation they were supposed to get back to me to spray in October. They have not called me yet. The company was run by 2 brothers earlier and they sold the company. I stayed back with them though I was frustrated a couple of times. I wanted to be here when they came once and they came when I was not here. Once I was unhappy as the service was due and I wanted them to re spray. They did a complete re spray and wanted to charge me for the whole service. It was just a touch up. The quality of work they do is good though.
