Electropedic Beds

AWFUL!!!
I've had 2 major surgeries in the last 10 months and wanted to buy an adjustable bed as to make getting in and out of bed more convenient and also for adjusting for comfort control. So I researched Electropedic Beds, it was one I looked at because it's been in business, for 24 years. and they have a store nearby and I didn't want to deal with an on line company because of service issues that might arise after purchase and also because it's a large dollar item, $5000.00.
The first bed I bought from them, was a split King where you have 1 bed with a split down the middle so each side is separately controlled by a remote control.  After a few days sleeping on it, I didn't care for the split in the middle of the bed so I called and returned the split king in exchange for a standard king which they brought out and installed and also "re synchronized" the remotes So that each of the 2 remotes could control the entire mattress when adjusting it. The store has a 10 day exchange policy if you don't like a specific mattress and want to change it out for another style of mattress which I did. After a week or so, the remote would only control half of the mattress so I called factory to speak to the owner about the problem with the remote. He had his receptionist talk with me as he dictated the conversation without getting on the phone. He told me that it wasn't his problem anymore and I should call the warranty company  to help me fix the problem. Completely brushing me off  this after just less than a week after taking possession of the bed. Their motto is "Your Comfort Is Everything." NOT SO!!  It should be, After we Take Your Money we don';t know who you are. I finally called the salesman who I dealt with when I bought the bed to address the problem with the remote. He did send someone out to find the trouble. After fixing the problem, a disconnected wire, the service person told me that I shouldn't have any problems with it in the future. Well a week later the same thing happened and I called them again. The scheduler of the delivery department came out and said that the bed had not been set up correctly by his own crew??? So he fixed it again, not overly happy about having to come out. Well after 2 weeks the same thing happened again!! This time I had to get on the floor and crawl around to find the disconnected wire because I didn't want to deal with them again. This after I just had a total hip replacement! I would NEVER purchase another product from Electropedic again. If it wasn't for the help of the salesman I bought the bed from, I would never have found out what the problem was with the bed. So I feel as though the product they sell is of poor quality, and my back has hurt more since sleeping on this bed. In writing this review, I wrote it over the period of a month to give them the benefit of the doubt about their customer service and they failed. For $5000.00 I got a bed where the wires disconnect, their mattress hurts my back, and the owner tried to brush me off after the sale. In plain terms, THEY SUCK!! I also have my suspicions about hem selling refurbished or repackaged products although that's an allegation and I can't prove. If you are thinking of buying a new bed, please deal with a reputable company such as Sit and Sleep or some provider comparable. Please don't end up like me with a $5000.00 bed that falls apart after a week, and an owner who could care less about your comfort or customer service!!!!

most comfortable bed we have ever slept on and have been blessed to stay in some of the nicest hotels in the world.  it sells itself to more of our overnight guests than we can count.  we have the sleep science with an adjustable base. have one for the guest room and one for ourselves.  sister and parents have since purchased bed for themselves.  these guys are the real deal.  we send everyone to them.
