About us

eGeniuses provides computer repair, upgrades and maintenance for PC and Mac computers to home users and small businesses. When eGeniuses was conceptualized in 2002, the realization was that people wanted a different kind of computer service that focused on preventive maintenance. Most computer repair companies were based on one-time fixes instead of ongoing support for clients. Ongoing support was only available to large companies with in-house I.T. Departments. Founder, Joey Mariano, wanted to provide Personal I.T. Support to small, mid-sized businesses as well as home-users. Plans to cover further areas surrounding Los Angeles is currently in the works.

Office cumputer problem. I found service provider on the Internet, set up appointment. Provider was very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. Also, the price for the services was very reasonable, particularly since the matter needed, and received, immediate attention. Joey was very professional, punctual, etc., so much so that I then hired his firm to work on my home computer. The results were the same -- professional, punctual, very reasonably priced.

I got the contact from Angie's List. The company name in Angie's List is wrong (AL lists it as "Computer Genius"--it's actually "E-Geniuses"), but the phone number is right. Joey Mariano was very helpful, doing a remote fix that took well over an hour to do, and he did it on very short notice. I was very pleased.

It went great, except it cost a little bit of money. I chose them because of the Angie's List ratings. They got a lot of reviews. I was very happy with the end result, because I was very worried that I had lost all my information on the PC.
