In my opinion the communication with Mike and his company is horrible as it is very difficult to get ahold of Mike because when you try and email him any number of 3 different people may respond via his one email address.
Mike, to my knowledge, never visited the job site at any point after he first quoted the job. During the tile install Jesus one of Mike's supervisors went to Mexico leaving the employees/subcontractors working on my job completely unsupervised resulting in tile being installed crooked that had to be corrected.
After the re-plaster on December 4 our pool now had a leak that it didn't have before. I requested that Mike call a leak detection company and after many back and forth emails on December 17 he eventually finally agreed to do so but wanted to try and see if they could fix the leak by re-plugging the drains in the bottom of the pool. They replugged the drains when we were out of town and they without my knowledge or consent heated the pool for 4 days from Dec 23 to Dec 26; the industry standard is not to heat a pool for around 30 days after a re-plaster as it may disrupt and negatively affect the natural curing process of the plaster. Jesus told us they were going to rent wet suits to re-plug the drains so I am not sure why they heated the pool which may mess up the plaster and certainly caused an increase in my gas bill.
As of Jan 18 the pool was still leaking and Mike still had not performed the leak detection so I had to call a company to perform the service in order to prevent any potential damage to my property from the leak.
