DALTONS PAINTING CO

We hired Dalton painting to work on our home and we are completely satisfied. If anything needs to be done they will do it. They are professional, clean and courteous. I really enjoy them and they offer the right price.

They advised me that I could keep the same colors, I had thought I had to change to the new colors which usually means more paint and more work. They were right I could.  When they discovered a section of faschia board that could not be patched nor painted they just replaced it.  They told me afterwards and they did that with no charge.  If they had known in advance I assume I would have been charged for it.  Used drop cloths, no spills.
We paint the whole tract every 6 years so I have been through this process 6 times now.  This is the first time I did NOT have to have the painter come back because of something they missed.  They missed nothing.  Been in business 35 years and it shows.
I noticed some nice work in the tract when I walked around and asked who did their painting.  One person who recently moved into the tract had used Dalton's before and used them here.  Neighbors asked 'who' and they used them, then more, then more.  They wound up painting most of the 182 houses.  My neighbors told me they didn't have to call them back to finish either, they just know their job and they do it.  Due to the volume of work they were doing that summer there was a wait to get them, but I assumed that before calling them.
I am extremely satisfied.

Though large portions of the work were completed in a highly satisfactory manner, there was a significant incidence of slipshod work practices that seriously undermined the overall quality of the job. Significant overspray in places, drips, splatters, and poorly cut/masked borders were evident throughout. Clean-up, restoration of furniture position, switch plates, and other fixtures was spotty and incomplete. The contact person, Scott, proved difficult to contact and unreliable in returning calls once the work was begun. The three person crew which did the actual work (none of whom spoke English) were left unsupervised for the whole job (6 days)- the primary reason for the uneven quality of work in my opinion. I would not recommend Daltons unless a low bid price is of overwhelming concern.

WE HAVE USED THEM TWICE. THEIR WORK ON THE CEILING WAS EXCELLENT. THEIR REPAIR WORK ON CRACKS, ETC. WAS SLOPPY.

THE PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE FOR OUR AREA AND SIZE OF OUR HOUSE. THEY HAD TO DO SOME TERMITE REPAIR FIRST AND THE RESULTS WERE GOOD.
