Company was responsive returning call in a timely manner while never heard from most other companies contacted. Service was started as planned. Too soon to tell what kind of a job will be done but in talking with the pool service person seems all should be good.

Started out friendly and as agreed, ended horribly with deeper issues than were necessary had communication been what I expected (at the very least).

He treated and brushed the walls of my pool on the same day he came to look at the pool and provide me with a quote. He did a detail check of all the pool equipment and made recommendations. The filter had not been cleaned in a log time so the pump was running high. He had to flush the filter several times to clean out the dirt which meant the filter probably needed cleaning and possibly new internal filters. He explained costs of all his work based on options. I went with the complete service which will run me about $100 per month. He definitely knows his stuff but doesn't try and push sales on you. Very nice and friendly.

Showed up on time and performed work described in a professional and efficient manner for the agreed price.  He was clearly experienced in this type of work and was able to troubleshoot an elecrical panel problem that had existed.
Very pleased with everything and would definitely rehire for other work.

Initially we asked him to just give us a second opinion/quote for repairs needed on our pool/spa. Not only did he give us a quote hundreds of dollars less than what we were quoted by another company, but his maintenance costs per month were significantly less as well (and he comes twice as often). Since we hired him to perform all of the above, he has done a wonderful job. He has been  so great - especially - for putting up with all of the extra leaves while we have been cleaning up the backyard landscaping. We would definitely recommend.

They came last Thursday. He charges 100 dollars per visit. My pool is looking so much better since I started using his services. He rescued my pool. I would give them top marks across the board. He comes every week.
Response from The Pool Guyz
"The $100 is per month for weekly service, not per visit. Thank you for your continued business [member name removed]!"

I think they're pretty good with what they do. Their price is not very expensive, they charge a reasonable price.

After two treatments by The Pool Guyz and a repair we had to make to our pool sweep the pool is very clear. He also suggested we buy new filters which we did. Mark gave us great advice and his suggestion of what was needed to repair sweep and replace filters was correct,

They were very personable. They do a good job. They kind of teach my husband how to maintain and keep up with it too. We will probably continue to use them.

Submitted inquiry on yourpoolguyz.com website.

Received immediate confirmation email that owner, Mark, would call me within one hour.

Mark called with 30 minutes and scheduled next day appointment.

Arrived on time and evaluated pool equipment symptoms and needed repairs.

Returned next day (did I say on time) with needed parts and completed repairs and retested equipment for proper function.

Prices were reasonable and fair.

I would highly recommend Mark's company for any pool service needs.

Mark Navickas came out on a Saturday to look at our pool pump..
He determined what the problem was. He ordered a part and came out on the following Monday to install the new part.
He knew what was wrong and fixed it for the amount he said he would.

Mark did an excellent job installing the equipment and told me to let him know if anything started leaking or didn't work right so he could come back. He also got me a good deal on a used pool vacuum that was better than the one I had been using.  He came out and let me try out the used vacuum for free for two weeks.  Since it worked as well as he'd advertised and was just half the price of a new model, I went ahead and bought it from him.  Back to the pool equipment, in May 2012, I noticed one of the pipes started leaking.  It had been just over a year since he'd originally installed the equipment, and the pipe was one from an old pump to the new heater.  Even though it wasn't necessarily part of the work he'd originally done, he came out immediately and repaired it for free.  I have another person doing my monthly pool service, but if I am ever given a reason to switch, I'd switch to Mark's company without any hesitation.  His customer service and his reasonable prices make him stand out from many of the other companies with which I've dealt.

We recently purchased a home and was told by one pool company that had already completed some work on our pool that we would have to replace the heater for our in ground hot tub to work although the entire pool/hot tub system is only a couple of years old. Got a quote from Mark and he fixed the problem for $225 (versus the estimated cost of replacing our heater for $3,400)! Needless to say we hired Mark to fix our heater problem as well as a couple of other issues and hired him to service our pool on a monthly basis and his rates are very reasonable. If anything else comes up for repair, Mark will be our guy. He knows his stuff and he's honest.
