Pocket Change Car Sales

5/19/13 - Purchased vehicle. After signing all finance paperwork etc., he said to come back Monday 5/20/13 to pick up a copy of all the paperwork because it was his Birthday and he was having a party. 5/20/13 - My husband went to pick up paperwork and dealer said the warranty was way too much money and he wanted us to pay him for the warranty. My husband said "no, the deal was it was included". Dealer stated that he would not give him the paperwork until he got more money from us. I called dealer and told him this was illegal and I would take action if he did not give us the paperwork for the sale. I went after work and he gave attitude about me being mean and making him pay for the warranty etc. He finally gave me the paperwork and I left. 5/22/13 - Check engine light came on so took into Dirito Brothers in Walnut Creek. The thermostat was bad and the seat belt sensor was bad. They contacted the warranty company just to find out that the warranty paperwork was never faxed or sent in so we had no warranty. We contacted seller and he told us to wait a couple months before using the warranty. Informed him that the car was not able to be driven and there was no way we were waiting a couple months to take it back in. He was not nice and said he would fax right away. I kept in contact throughout the day and he said he faxed on that evening and on Thursday morning.... warranty company never got a fax. 5/23/13 - I took and faxed a copy of the warranty to company and was then informed that he needed to mail in the original before they would consider our vehicle under warranty. When my husband called Brentwood Motors/Pocket Change Auto back the guy got mad and said he was fed up with us and he would get to it next week some time. My husband informed him that we wanted it done today because the car was at the dealership and could not be driven. He hung up on my husband..... In order for us to get our car repaired we are having to pay for repairs and either hope he sends in the warranty and then try to get out money back or sue him in small claims. DON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BRENTWOOD MOTORS OR POCKET CHANGE AUTO
