BROCKMAN ENGINEERING

Brockman Engineering was first hired to do a home inspection because the house that we were considering purchasing had moisture concerns under the house. After it was determined that there was water under the house, their report told us why and suggested a proposal for the remedy. We contracted with Brockman because they were professional and were recommended by our Realtor. The work started on time, progressed as scheduled and was completed on consecutive days. The job Foreman was knowledgeable and communicated well. He was very responsive to our questions and add-ons. The workers were also knowledgeable and you could tell they had done this before. Everything they did was very methodical and they worked well together. The work was completed in the time frame quoted, even with the changes that we added.

The estimator appeared promptly. I showed the problem areas. He inspected all parts of the foundation both on the interior and exterior. He gave explanations of why we had some problems and gave several options for repair. There was one area where the foundation was cracked but said that it was nothing for us to worry about. I got the impression that they were giving an honest, realistic evaluation and were not trying to make things seem worse than they were, nor did it seem that they were adding unneeded repair to their estimate.
