I was charged $950 which I paid after work was completed. The outdoor work was done only after I provided replacement plywood John Felix subcontract to painters who he then pays a portion of the proceeds. The painters were a father son team and they had no carpenter experience and thought it was only going to be a sand, caulk and paint job. I told them John knew that a section of plywood needed to be replaced. They got the go ahead from John Felix to do the work which they did to the best of their ability. It was done but I had to buy wood filler to evenout the section replaced and I repainted with the paint I had left over from a previous painting. They would not have done the painting if I didn't have extra paint. Secondly, the ceiling drywall was completed and once it dried I noticed that it didn't match the rest of the ceiling texture. They had left a generator in my garage that they said belonged to John Felix and he would contact me to pick it up. He called me to pick up the generator and asked me how everything went and I told him I wasn't pleased with the ceiling that it didn't match. He looked at it and agreed. He said I'll get someone back by to fix it. I waited a couple of weeks and finally emailed him about when someone would be by I was getting ready to list the house for sale. He said it'll be Friday 8am. I then received another email that he had 3 jobs that needed to be completed and he wouldn't be able to make it. He would get back to me. I haven't heard from him since then and it's a week later. Not a man of his word, I now know the saying you pay for what you get" is so true. I will never go with a low bid ever again and I will never use Angie's for services of a handyman. .
