The space for the refrigerator was off.
The solution was to raise all the cabinets on that wall.
Unfortunately that was off, and the frame of the cabinet above the refrigerator had to be extracted and trimmed.
A gap was left under the range-top that had to be covered and new base shoe installed.
Drawers had to be adjusted in order to close.
The waste bin racks had to be adjusted in order for the drawer to close correctly.
Cabinets were painted and the paint cracked on twenty one door/drawer panels and needed to be repainted, (approx. six weeks).
Paint is currently cracking and flaking in small areas.
All of these issues had to be pointed out.

We sent an email, regular mail and left a phone message, all to no avail. Mr. [Member name] is a valued customer and we pride ourselves on customer service and would like to make sure that the paint issue is resolved. However, after the above attempts we have yet to hear from Mr. [Member name]. During the course of a kitchen remodel adjustments are often needed on the job site. Walls, ceilings and floors are almost always out of level. The last thing to be done at a job is to do the final adjustments on the doors and drawers, install the base shoe and to do final touch up on the finish. All of which were done and acknowledged by Mr. [Member name]. When the job was complete Mr. [Member name] had a beautiful kitchen and we were paid in full."

I called to see if they would take a tiny job like trimming a small area above a cabinet for a new dishwasher intallation. Matt was so kind and he came out the same day and scheduled us for early the next morning. All work was done to perfection, on time, and so very profesionally. A few days later the dishwasher installer said they could not install dishwasher because there was and quot;nothing to screw the brackets to.and quot; I called Matt again and asked for his advice and he didn't hesitate one moment to schedule Steven to come out again early the next morning and screw the dishwasher into place absolutely perfectly. I can't even tell you what a total pleasure to have met both Matt and Steven and how very much we appreciated them treating us as though we were a large regular cabinet job that they usually do. I would not hesitate for one minute to recommend this company to anyone looking for cabinet work. You will be so very glad you contacted them.

I just signed up for Angie's List in July 2013, however, I am still so happy about the service Scane provided in 2010, that I want to write about it now.
This was the second time we used Scane Custom Cabinets. First, they built a custom vanity for our master bathroom. It was perfect. So, when we decided to remodel our kitchen they were our first call. Many people think and quot;customand quot; means more expensive. Scane's custom kitchen cabinets were THOUSANDS less than Lowe's premade cabinets. Custom really means you are getting EXACTLY what you want., and from Scane, at a competitive price. We were happy with them every step of the way. From planning to installation, they were great.
My coworker had her kitchen remodeled by Scane a few years later and was also happy.

With my remodel I insisted that they use Scane cabinets for my kitchen. Matt and his staff are awesome. The finished product is beyond my expectations. Matt kept me informed along every step of the way and even made suggestions. I took his advice and I am glad I did. The island with a built in wine rack and butcher block top is the centerpeice of my kitchen.

After my initial call, the representative came to my house to talk with us about what we wanted and he took measurements. A few days later we received the bid/estimate (very reasonable), then they worked with us on scheduling the removal of the old (so glad they did the demolition), and the installation of the new. We needed time after the removal of the old to have other contractors finish walls and have the floor removed, but once that was done, our cabinets were ready to be installed. They delivered and installed when we were ready, and even came back another day to install a piece (toe kick?) once the new floor was installed. Scane Cabinets was the easiest part of our kitchen remodel.

THE CABINETS AREN'T QUITE WHAT WE HAD TALKED ABOUT. THEY ARE THE WRONG STYLE AND WRONG COLOR. WE ARE STILL IN NEGOTIATIONS FOR THEM TO FIX IT. THEY ARE EASY ENOUGH TO WORK WITH.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. OUR KITCHEN LOOKS FANTASTIC. THEY DID EXCELLENT QUALITY WORK ON THE CABINET AND WERE VERY COOPERATIVE WHEN WE WERE MAKING OUR DESIGN PLAN. FOR THE MOST PART THE WERE ON TIME FOR THE JOB.
