We have been specializing in home landscaping and tree services since 1977. As a licenced California State Contractor, we carry liability and workmans compensation insurances for your protection. My son Mike has now joined the business adding a fresh aspect to our quality services.

Services we offer
We preform trimming services on your landscape plants and trees that are usually not preformed by gardeners, and drain systems. Sod lawns, as well as removals. Trimmings are shreaded thru our brush chippers and recycled for mulch. We also provide power stump grinding requiring only a 30 inch access gate. Landscape services include: Sprinkler systems repaired and installed (including automated valves and irrigation clocks), trees and plants installed with design help. Landscaping lighting too.

I think Gary knows his stuff but doesn't always listen to other ideas.
"As I suggested installing a sprinkler system in the planter areas, [member name removed] chose not to stating that her Care Provider (whose father was in the landscape field) would do the watering "by hand". Reluctantly I chose plants to install based on our discussions of what the Kelby's liked, explaining the water needs for them. [member name removed] exclaimed they would be diligent in the watering as someone is always there. A heat spell occurred soon after the completion damaging many for the plants due to lack of water. I returned and replaced many of the plants (at no charge). Though the planters were now moist, the Care Provider confessed to me that she was not there all weekend and no one else watered ([member name removed] assured me someone was monitoring the plants daily). She had watered upon her return that morning but the damage was done. It appears they have now installed drought tolerant plants to meet their watering abilities. I will never again agree to install plants where there are no sprinklers."
that they repaired and restored from the original landscaping. The workers were courteous and professional. The job was completed timely and the yard planters look great! Gary followed up a few days later and adjusted our sprinkler times on a Saturday. Someone who did not care about his customers would not do that. We are very satisfied with Savosh Inc.and plan on using him for all our landscaping projects in the future!
The team of 4 men were here for 2 days. They did an excellent job and the trees are trimmed and thinned beautifully. In fact, a neighbor saw how good they looked and asked him to come down and give him a bid and they are hiring him, too.
We would definitely recommend Gary, especially for someone who wants a tree trimmer who really knows what to do to trim each type of tree. We are very particular and Gary's team really know what they are doing. In fact the trees looked so good that we had to add 6 more podocarpus trees on the last day they were here. We have privacy from our trees (which is why we planted them) and yet they are thinned and ready to grow for this season.
I've previously used Savosh Tree and Landscape Services to trim other trees, roots, and to remove a tree that was getting huge and had been planted too close to a fence. I trust Gary's advice and his crew's work. I'm about to move to a house with about 20 fruit trees. I suspect I'll be calling Savosh more frequently!
"Though I really do not have recolection of this particular incident IN 2009, there were several times while I was in the city of La Habra, being stared down by gang bangers flashing gang signs, that I chose to abort giving a proposal for one lousy tree trim, and not to risk my life. REALLY SIR ATTACKING ME AND MY COMPANY FOR NOT GETTING AN ESTIMATE IN 2009 AND REPOSTING IT IN 2011, GET A LIFE! And angie's list, allowing someone that we never worked for to post such an attack. I thought your company was about reveiws about work preformed. You constantly try to contact us to advertise with you. After 35 years in business with no complaints on my contractors licence or to the BBB there is this. You expect me to pay you to have consumers see this garbage, REALLY. While this post exists that will never happen. Maybe there should be a web site for us contractors to rate consumers!"
