This company is very honest, courteous, and very competent.  They provided me with great customer service from start to finish.  Dale is wonderful; He was very knowledgeable and was able explain everything in "lamens terms"as well as  provide me with a breakdown of pricing.  They have exceptionally reasonable pricing, and just up quality work!  He was very nice, and cleaned up after himself.  I was absolutely impressed by this provider and company.  I appreciate their hard work and would recommend them to any member of Angie's List!

I didn't have them come o the house as Dale helped us over the phone and it ws just a change of filter needed. He was helpful and honest and we appreciated the time he took over the phone without needing to make a house call.I would call Nix again, they are very creadable.

Nix Plumbing Heating And Air Conditioning doesn't really do plumbing anymore. His price was very fair. He was competent and he's local. He saw what was wrong, he fixed it and was gone. Another company told me I may need new equipment but Nix came out and told me how they could fix it and I wouldn't need anything new.

Their was a pipe that had frozen over because of closed vents. He put a wrapper around the pipe to soak up the water and advised to open the vents, which worked just fine. He also showed us how to adjust the settings on the thermostat. The price was good and they didn't try to sell me on anything. He seems to be straight forward and honest, which I appreciate.

We bought a house in Yorba Linda and found that the AC was broken after we moved in.  Not only that, the inspection had not caught a bad furnace either!  Dale Nix came right out when he said he would, gave me a price on the spot, and was working here the same week.  He came out to make a small repair on the AC in 2011 - very hot when I called him - showed up the next day and took care of it.  Now we are moving again and I need a new AC and furnace in the place I'm going to.  Guess who I'm going to call?!

Dale, the business owner, came out to diagnose our 25-year old central AC system that was not blowing cold air. He had been recommended by a friend. I also found a positive review on Angie's List and two positive reviews through Google, and everything checked out OK with the State Contractor License Board. He found that the compressor was not starting, and walked me through the reasons and how he attempted to resurrect it, but it was too far gone. Not a big surprise after 25 years. Most of our neighbors in the tract have had to replace their systems already. He patiently went through the various potential options with me such as piecemeal repair, complete replacement, or upgraded replacement, while covering cost, reliability and energy efficiency of each alternative. It was clear to me that Dale really knew his stuff, and that replacement made the most sense. I decided to go with a system similar to the existing system, nothing fancy. The next day, he checked his stock for the size system we needed, and he had the right size, including a scratch-and-dent discounted compressor unit (the outdoor part of the system) that he had acquired (still brand-new with full warranty). He gave me a quote for $4,300 to replace the system, including new higher efficiency supply and return grilles throughout the house. This was a great price compared to what neighbors had told me they paid for similar replacement. He could install two days later, but I was going on a trip, so we set it up for the day after my return, in about a week. His crew arrived for the appointment that morning at 8 am, removed the old system, installed the new system, and had everything completed and cleaned up by 2 pm. His supervisor answered any questions that I had along the way (and some from my 8-year-old son), and they protected my wood floors and even my concrete driveway with carpet that they laid down at the beginning of the job. Everything was cleaned up at the end, the operation of the new thermostat was explained, and we went over warranty information. I couldn't have asked for better service. Nobody likes to spend thousands to fix things that wear out, but when it's time to do it, it's nice to have a feeling of value and confidence in the system and the installation when everything is complete.

Dale and his team came to my office and removed a 5 ton AC unit from the roof that they had installed the year before (I was moving offices) with a crane They brought the AC unit over to the new location and had it installed within hours, including all ducting. Dale's team moves like the Marine Corps! Fast, punctual, and amazingly efficient. His prices are very reasonable too. I couldn't be happier with this service and would heartily recommend Nix for anyone with air conditioning needs.
