Jack came out and fixed a difficult electrical wiring problem in my house. I found him trustworthy, and I definitely recommend him.

I called them about an electrical panel upgrade and they responded immediately. They looked at some pictures and heard our situation, did their calculations, and it turns out that we didn't need an electrical panel upgrade. Other companies might have done the calculations but gone along with us thinking we needed work done to get some business, but these guys were honest and upfront and ended up saving us a good amount of money.

I'm not sure how this man has stayed in business and got any reviews above 1?? I had 3 ceiling fans installed by this "company", one was not centered, so I asked Jack, the "owner", to fix the mistake. He was so unresponsive that this went on for several months. The fan was centered but the drywall was not repaired, (I was left with a hole in my ceiling covered by blue tape). The employee that made the mistake of not centering the fan said they don't repair drywall, and Jack, the owner, would not pay for the repair, (it was the responsibility of his employee to pay for the mistake). Now I have to pay for someone to fix the hole in my ceiling, or leave the ugly blue tape covering the hole. Wouldn't a good businessman take care of the issue and not pawn it off on his employee? Why would Angi be affiliated with a business like this?? I won't hire the drywall repair person from Angi, and if you read this review Jack, SHAME on you!! I feel sorry for your customers and employees!! BEWARE!

The crew came on time and did an excellent job installing electrical wiring and installing the ceiling fan. Highly recommended!

From my perspective things worked out super. Based on input from several electrical contractors addressing various shorts and tripped circuits since adding solar I was advised that my service box was too small and needed upgrading. Fortunately, I called JVEC for an upgrade estimate. The owner came out personally and diagnosed my problem as wiring not secured appropriately to breakers after explaining how that impacted my system. After securing my panel we parted with a hand shake, shared contact info and a promised consideration for any future electrical concerns. As for tripped breakers, so far so good…

It went well. The of the company, Jack, came out to provide the estimate. He answered all my questions about the project specifically as well as other electrical subjects not part of the project. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. On the day of the project, The workers advised when they were enroute to my house. Upon arrival, they confirmed the work to be and where it was to be done. They were friendly, courteous and professional.

They knew exactly what the issues were. Replaced the parts, now the system is working great!

Very well. Jvec crew went straight for the most probable site of the fault. Quickly traced the problem to be in the power line from pole to house. Able to immediately contact SCE and report what the diagnostics showed. The fault was confirmed and repaired that morning.

The group was absolutely amazing. Knowledgeable, hard working and kind. I would hire them again in a heart beat! Having a group that is trustworthy is important when your house is considered “historic,” and over 100 years old. Precision matters.

It went well. 2 fellows showed up and went to work mapping circuits and their beginnings. Then they installed AFCI/GFI"s at beginning of each circuit.

Everything went great, they quickly found the problem and diagnosed that the problem wasn't needing a whole new panel thank heavens. Saved me a lot of money! Would definitely recommend them and will most certainly be using them again! 👍

They worked hard and competed the work quickly

Went great, technicians were efficient and extremely professional. Initial calls they were knowledgeable about the issue and response rate was great.

He came in to do an assessment. He told me they can install a tesla wall charger on our 100a panel and make it work. After installation, we tried charging our tesla and it worked but after 10 mins it stopped charging so we called them back. They seem puzzled and were not sure why it stopped. They decided to install a new 50a breaker and thought the first one was faulty. Same error occured. Now they’re saying i have to set the charging to just 32-40a because its “safe for the battery”. It’s like fixing my car and then tells me i can only go 40mph on the freeway because its safer eventhough my car can go 65mph. I told him the wall charger is meant for 48a. Apparently he didn’t know tesla wall charger uses 48a coz he only calculated 32-40a. He even says tesla goes against state and national electric codes and apparently they haven’t been caught. Its pretty deceiving and just had our hopes up. Very very disappointed and frustrated!

The 20+ electricians at this outfit must be darn busy because owner Jack himself picked up my call and made the trip himself. Work was performed as though it's just another day, and somehow you just know he did it in the most cost effective way possible. Thank you Jack, and God bless.

Jack and his electrician crew (Roger and partner) did an excellent job of installing a 14-50 240 volt connector in my garage for a Telsa Y. Very happy with the service and friendly technicians. I will use them again for more EV projects. Daniel in Diamond Bar

Excellent-Jack and his team were able to identify and remedy the issues we were having with our whole house Touch Plate Low Voltage lighting system quickly and efficiently.

They did a great job, they were very clean and professional.

Jack was very accommodating and stopped by to look at the solar setup from 2 1/2 years ago. Another electrician said some of the conduit connections were wrong and had to be redone. Jack looked at the setup and said that since it had the meter seal from Southern California Edison from the original job that everything was ok. SCE had signed off and any other needs about the meter were SCE's purview. I also checked with the city inspector and he said that according to the plans and the city signoff on the work that there didn't look to be any code violations. Jack had perfectly answered my questions about the solar connections that I will pass along to the real estate agent about the projected work not being necessary. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have used JVEC and have been impressed every time. A big thank you to Jack and his crew!!

I hired JVEC because I liked their quote for approximate time needed for the job (approx. 2 hours or less), plus they quoted a good price per hour (discounted for Angi customers) rather than price per outlet and light fixture replacement. JVEC said they would be at the house between 9 and 10 a.m., Jack arrived @9:30. He and then Logan verified what jobs I wanted taken care of and whether I had the outlets and faceplates to install, which I did. Jack started with the outlets in the kitchen while Logan started in the dining room with a non-working outlet. Some of the outlets needed a little adjusting for size opening in the wall to fit the GFCI outlets better. After the outlets were finished both gentlemen worked on carefully taking down the great-grandparent's light fixture (about 25# in weight) and replacing with the newer fixture which came with the house. We got bulbs to put in the light and it worked fine, plus the outlets are now safer and more code compliant. It was a little less than 2 hours total time for the job, a great estimate. Jack and Logan were very friendly, courteous, and professional. They worked well together and didn't mind chatting with us during the work. I would hire these people again in a heartbeat!!

Jack and his crew are the utmost professionals. They are hard working, competent, efficient and cannot recommend them highly enough. I have a major renovation planned for next year and will undoubtedly hire them to do the job. They were extremely respectful of our house and cleaned along the way only leaving their extraordinary work behind. Thanks guys! You are the BEST!!

Jack was great in helping us get to the problem of why our breaker wasn't working. Will definitely call him again.
