Greenhouse and Nursery Service
This nursery is one of the two nurseries I can recommend as a good visit. Yes, it is worth the drive. I purchased several Manzanita plants, native yucca plants, and many other native plant species that are native to the Cleveland National Forest and the coastal chaparral region of San Diego County. Of all the native plants we purchased for our home, I have to admit that we are happiest with the selection from this nursery. They have to survive in the harsh climate of the Boulevard area, and they have thrived in our home which is in western Chula Vista. Their plants have not died, and there have been no plagues of diseases or insects. Again, it is worth the drive, at least once. You have to call to make an appointment though. They have an awesome selection of Manzanita's they grow nearly anywhere.
