Eddie Urban responded within a few hours to our urgent need. We were having an alarm installed, and there was no existing power source available. It was a few days before Christmas, crazy time. Urban Electric got us out of a real tight spot. We love Urban!B

The work originally went well, they arrived when scheduled and the installation was 'clean'.
A wiring error by a relatively new employee resulted in a voltage surge through the house, damaging numerous electrical appliances as well as the furnace and controls.
To their credit, Urban Elect. stood behind their work and fully reimbursed me for the damages.
They were courteous and attentive both before and after the mistake.
The inconvenience was minor and they attended to all the details.

I've had two homes here in the mountains and I've dealt with a lot of contractors. The best electrician to date is Mr. Urban from Urban Electric. I called on a Saturday and got an appointment the same day! He was on time, knowledgable, and reasonable. He even was pleasant. He definitely will have my business in the future.

Fixed my immediate problem which was that the living room and kitchen ceiling lights weren't working. Tested and inspected other wiring at my request and fixed a minor issue. Pointed out potential problems with my panel. Joel was punctual (actually early but that was okay) and professional. Knows his stuff. Everything was finished in a hour.
I will use them in a couple of weeks for another ceiling light replacement (needs new joist and junction box).

They did a nice job. I didn't compare their price but I felt it was fair. They were reasonable and I didn't have any problems with the price. They did good work. They have a receptionist in the office so that whenever I call, someone picks up the phone to schedule appointments. They call to let me know if they are running late or if they are not going to be able to make the appointment. It is very easy to do business with them; with other companies I just get an answering machine and they don't return calls. They are very professional.
