ARROWHEAD ANIMAL HOSPITAL

They're very nice. They love dogs. Even the receptionist loves our dog. When the dog goes to the vet, she gets nervous but they treat her well. She was limping around at home one day and we took her to the vet and the vet put her down to see how she was walking and she walked right away; she didn't want to stay there. It was approximately $70 to find out there was nothing wrong with her leg. They x-rayed her foot and everything. Their price depends on what was done. Their price is competitive. If they think it's urgent, they get clients right in there. They're very nice.

I had a great experience with them. The veterinarian and the people there know my dog and everything about them is great. They treat my dog well; they are efficient and very knowledgeable. They are pleasant people. They take a picture of the dog which they use in the postcard for the next appointment. They are really animal oriented people.

Office staff is extremely rude. I rec'd a call from the animal hospital today requesting my driver's license for meds (narcotics) the vet clinic gave me for my cat back in January 2013. Sandy stated they needed it for their DEA logbook. I told her I would send in my husband with his ID. After the call, I started to think it was odd and talked to my husband, who has a DEA license and he agreed that it was odd. I called the clinic back to ask more specific questions and Sandy was extremely rude and asked, and quot;Are you coming in or not!?and quot; I said my husband was coming in, but I wanted to do some more research (still in shock that she was so rude when we were doing them a favor). I called two different vet clinics and both stated they never photo copy the driver's license, they just need name, address and date of birth. I called the vet clinic back and got Sandy again. I told her that she would be happy to know that all she needed is a date of birth and address to complete her Federal DEA Logbook. In a rude tone she asked for my date of birth and before I could ask a question I had she quickly said goodbye and hung up. I have been in several times to this hospital and every time someone in the front office is having a bad day. The old doc and the male vet tech are really nice, but his office staff is one of the WORST for rudeness and bad manners. I do not recommend this clinic unless he gets new office staff.

The doctors and staff o f the hospital made a very traumatic time in our lives so much easier with the care and concern. We asked that they look at our 20 year old terrier who was blind and appeared to be in pain. They identified the cause for his pain and assisted us in making the decision to put him to rest.
The care and love for animals they displayed were evident and made this process so much easier for us as we lost a loved one. Even after his passing, Doctor Mayne took the time to send us a card that shared our grief.
