+ -1 moreIt has been three months since I moved out and they still haven't given me my security deposit back. It does not appear that I will ever get my security deposit back. And yes, I did leave the place spotless (I had a professional cleaner clean the place). Even though the bedroom has a gas wall heater, the heater is not connected to the gas line. The renter has to rely on electric heat (expensive!!). The property owner refused to attach the heater to the gas line--no explanation given--even though I agreed to pay the gas bill. However, the property owner agreed that I had not been notified of the non-function of the gas heater and agreed to let me out of the 1-year lease. But when I moved out early, Village Property Management, tried to hold me to the lease.
