 + 0 moreMike Duncan has excellent credentials (he remodeled Beach Boys' Brian Wilson's home in Lake Arrowhead) and is truly the most reliable contractor we've ever worked with. He has innovative and practical solutions, arrives on time, works hard, does very professional work, and cleans up after himself so that we don't even know he's been there. His prices are more than fair and he doesn't take a mark-up on parts and supplies. On top of everything else, Michael Duncan is a really good guy: very nice demeanor, easy to talk to, quickly understands the project you have in mind, is flexible, respectful of personal property, and very appreciative of the work. All in all, you cannot find another contractor who is as easy to work with and as professional as Michael Duncan of Duncan Construction. And I never thought I'd ever be able to say this about a building contractor!
Description of Work: Michael Duncan performs all of the services himself, sometimes with assistants. Since purchasing our home in Lake Arrowhead, Mike has put on a new roof, and even came up with a new roof design to prevent snow from accumulating on our front porch. He has installed a faux beam in the vaulted livingroom ceiling; and did electrical wiring to install new ceiling fans. He also has reconfigured our laundry room to allow space for a new bathroom that he built, and we are now going to hire him to build a new family room. Mike also installed a new tankless water heater, replaced two of our toilets, remodeled and rebuilt exterior decks, and repaired the water pressure in the shower. Basically, we've had him doing one job after another since July 2011. We are also going to hire Mike to upgrade the large glass windows at our business location.
