The MAIN issue and the reason for 1 star (I'd give 0 if i could): In October of 2024, they fixed a main water line leak from the meter box at the street to the house. I thought they did a good and quick job until this weekend when BB got torrential rain and a bunch of snow. 100+ gallons of water has now leaked into my buildup / crawlspace under my house where they dug the new water line and tunneled under the house. It is seeping into the closet and lower bedroom and now I'm concerned about water damage. The experienced contractor I had over to diagnose the water intrusion said the flooding is 100% coming from their trench that they dug under the foundation / footer and their work - see the proof in the video he took ([*** Link removed ***] Bear Valley Plumbing and Heating came out yesterday and what was their solution? - To backfill 1 sq foot of earth on the interior side of the footer where the line is coming in which they should have done originally, but didn't. The technician, Quentin, then blamed everything on past water intrusion issues and thinks that filling in a little dirt on the interior is a sufficient enough fix for the massive amount of groundwater that is now leaking into our house and the lower level from where they tunneled the new line under the foundation. This guy was working on our heater a week ago, and now he's making plumbing assessments about a job he didn't even work on? My brother in law is a licensed plumber and said with confidence they did a half-assed job backfilling, waterproofing, and compacting the dirt at the front of the house where the stop and waste is, regardless of potential watershed issues at the front. Water is collecting there and seeping into the build up through their stop and waste hole and new trench they dug. Their excuse: "that's where the last stop and waste was. you would have had this issue regardless" I spent ~$14k on this project - they fixed one issue and created another MASSIVE one for us and are now washing their hands of responsibility to do something. Contractor said he would have charged $9k - $10k for this project and said i was overcharged. I told Quentin, the technician, I was unsatisfied with his remedy and he told me a supervisor would contact me today. I have called 5 times today, and not a single person has called me back. It's now 5 pm and they're closed. Still no call or effort to make it right. They claim to be a "reputable" company and "stand by their work" with a warranty. Absolutely laughable. Another issue with same company: I have now spent $1,000 for them to fix my heater and it is still not working properly. $650 calibration/maintenance was suggested by same guy, Quentin, and they ended up breaking the circuit board during that which they replaced quickly in a matter of days, but after that, the heater stopped working again. They now suggest different "error" codes are the issue and that it needs a new "limit switch" for an additional $400. Googling "Goodman Limit Switch" online says the part costs $25. I had to call back to get them to waive the $99 site visit fee too which they said they'd apply to the job but didn't. Still don't have a fully functioning heater even though it is only 2 years old. $15,000 total later across two projects that I have paid this company to still not have a fully functioning heater and to now have an even bigger water intrusion issue than I had before the leak in the main line. One last thing to note: they quoted me $24k for a 3-zone mini split system last year. These units maybe cost $1,500 apiece for a total of roughly $5k for the hardware/parts. ~$19,000 additional for what, labor? You have been warned.

To get a new kitchen countertop installed, I need a plumber to come the day before to remove the sink, faucet and garbage disposal AND return right after to install the new sink & faucet into the new countertop, plus hookup the disposal a little lower because the new sink turned out to be deeper. They sent Mike Henry, a man of integrity and skill. Previous plumbing companies had done poor work leaving leaky pipes, including under that garbage disposal. Fortunately, lowering the disposal meant redoing the leaky joint. Their prices exceeded Home Depot's, who's plumber wouldn't come the distance. Mike Henry's workmanship was beyond excellent and worth every cent. He was prompt, so my kitchen didn't have to go without water any longer than necessary. He worked clean. He was considerate, kind and respectful. Many thanks to Bear Valley Plumbing for great scheduling and a great employee.

Brian came out to my home the same day I requested service. He was nice, respectful and even put shoe covers over his shoes so he would not track any dirt in my home. He explained everything to me in detail. I had an amazing experience and would recommend Bear Valley Plumbing & Heating to anyone.
