About us

Beverly Hills Transfer and Storage first opened for business in 1924 on the now-famous Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California. Back then, Hollywood was just getting on its way, and Southern California was still a bit of a frontier. Our first moving truck was built by a local blacksmith. Our first warehouse was a converted dairy farm. In 1935, when we built our home office on Beverly Drive, the world was such that at six stories in height, it was the tallest concrete block building in the nation.

I was extremely disappointed. They didn’t wrap things well and they made it challenging and getting reimbursement too much work and I didn’t even bother.  They wanted us to photograph and document everything instead of having a representative come out and investigate. My washing machine showed up damaged. It was a winter move and the guys showed up unprepared. The lock was frozen on the truck and they complained about having to go up and down the stairs. I was not pleased with the service.

They are currently doing corporate work for my company, but they have also moved me personally. The price would be different depending on the type of move. I have only the highest feedback for them. I think they are the best moving company in this area. They have a subsidiary that operates under their name and I recommend them to everyone that I know. I like them because of their rigorous follow through, their high customer service, and their high touch before and after. The crew is professional and courteous. My family and I felt safe because it was just me and my daughter. It was just exemplary. They made sure that my carpets didn't get dirty during the move, they wiped their feet, and they used polite greetings. They were kind and gentle with my children and they were courteous with my belongings. They were careful not to hurt my things.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD. THEIR PACKING QUALITY WAS GOOD. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. THEY TREATED ME VERY WELL DURING THE WHOLE TIME, AND I WAS VERY SATISFIED OVERALL.
