Beware of Bellini. After spending over $2,000 on baby furniture that was ordered in mid July and delivery promised within 8 weeks, we finally called at the end of September (it had been 10 weeks) and the salesperson casually told us the furniture was in their warehouse, which they could only access once a month (how is it possible that you can only get into your own warehouse once a month??), and the items would 'probably' be delivered in another 2 to 3 weeks. The fact that we were about to have a baby and needed furniture did not seem to impress them. They were extremely nonchalant and unapologetic. We called again two weeks later and were given the same story...it would be another 2 to 3 weeks, probably by the end of October (my due date). At this point we began to feel frustrated at their lack of initiative and we had our designer call to find out what was causing the delay. The salespeople were extremely rude to her, refused to give her the name of the store's owner, refused to apologize or acknowledge how unprofessional they were being, and actually hung up the phone on a customer! Finally, after several phone calls they 'found' a way to get onto their warehouse and the furniture was delivered that week (still a month late). There was again no apology, no offer of compensation (we asked for free delivery and were refused), and we were told a refund was impossible. Considering the reputation of this company and the high price tags of its furniture, it is shocking and appalling that the owner and salespeople treat their customers so unprofessionally and with such disdain. I am baffled that this company is still in business. If you check reviews in on online search, you will find several other people who had an almost identical experience.
