Working with Maurice Levitch of Levitch Associates was a delight in every way.
Maurice
rebuilt our front deck with IPE Brazilian hardwood. I am an architect
myself and have worked with many different contractors over the last ten
years in the Bay Area, and none of them came close to what Levitch
Associates offered us.

communication skills, his transparency regarding cost, and his

Levitch Associates is a multi-generational family business.
Maurice Levitch, our architect, is the son of the company founder, Edward
Levitch. I am from a family of out-of-state builders, myself. When a family puts its name on their business,
it means that their reputation is on the line. All of our interactions with the
various Levitch family members were warm and professional.
Maurice’s work was creative and his crew of builders
delivered top-notch construction. We love our new kitchen! And, builders from
my family have complimented the quality of the work completed by Levitch
Associates. It seems to us that the Levitch Family takes great pride in the
quality of their work, in the relationships with their clients, and in the integrity of their family name.

We ended up not doing the project because they came up way over budget. The design that they did for us was incredible but they had no concept of working within the budget. They kind of scared us out of the project. The price went up when we cut back the project. They charged us a ridiculous amount for the drawings and designs. They also did a property survey.

Maurice was great to work with in both the design and construction phases. He came on evenings and weekends to discuss design options. The prices we were quoted were what we paid and the work was done on time. The quality was very good and has held up well over 2.5 years. There were some problems that came up, but we felt that Levitch resolved them quickly and fairly. They were fairly expensive, but it was worth it to us to have an exact price and to be sure we were getting good quality.
