We have provided high quality Japanese hand tools for close to thirty years. We belive in the beauty of crafting something by hand and therefore do not carry power tools. We do, however, sell drill bits for your hand or electric powered drills.

These folks love sharp things. If it has an edge and is exotic they'll swoon an fawn over it. The shop is filled with sharp things, and, for no apparent reason, drawer pulls. It's all from Japan. All good quality. Their sharpening service is limited in dates, and they limit the number of tools taken in, all though in the spirit of meeting commitments. No rush jobs here.

They require 48 hours for sharpening knives. I dropped mine off on a Thursday and it was finished when I returned on Saturday. The knife has been restored to being very sharp and is once again my favorite tool for slicing up veggies in my kitchen. The people were nice and the shop has many interesting Japanese products for working around the house and yard.
