Services we offer

All standard repair services for electric guitar, acoustic guitar, electric bass, and acoustic bass-guitar. These include: *all adjustments: for example, a 'set-up' includes action, intonation, truss-rod, nut re-cut, pickup, and tuner adjustments. *electrical repair: pickup installation and repair, custom wiring modification and repair, MIDI installation, etc. *structural repair: broken headstocks, body and neck cracks, tuner and bridge re-alignment and replacement, etc.

Services we don't offer

We do not work on 'upright' bass (acoustic bass viol), except for electrical repair of onboard pickups. We do not perform all services 'in-house': for example, we do not perform lacquer re-spray in-house, we 'send it out' to a lacquer-specialist, and are responsible for the resulting work. By appointment only. Hours flexible: MON - SAT, 12 noon - 6:30

When I called Stephen White, the owner of Guitartech, he was intimately familiar with my bass guitar. Stephen works from his house, so I wasn't sure I was even in the right place when I brought my guitar in. However, when I actually talked to him, he absolutely knew what he was doing. He gave me an estimate of $160.00, and said the service would take a week. 4 days later, Stephen called me and said my bass was ready. I picked it up, and ended up paying only $130.00, including a bottle of polish for the neck.
