Guerreros Electric Inc. is still open during our normal business hours. We are fully aware of the difficult time that we are partaking in, for this reason, we place great importance in taking care of our clients. Excellent company. Carlos was very responsive, quick and transparent with estimates. He and his crew made short work of a challenging job. We have lathe and plaster walls and they made minimal and neat holes that were perfectly repaired later by a drywall expert he recommended. Crew work and cleanup was first rate. When we discovered we had missed on outlet in the finished basement that was tied to the old system, he returned in less than a week to wire that outlet to the new circuits. Crew was masked and set up a wash station outside for covid safety. Guerreros may be pricier than others, but their expertise and quality is worth it

Electricians (2) arrived earlier than scheduled, texted me 30 minutes before arriving. I appreciated the early arrival. Tested both areas and concluded that replacements were needed. Total time spent was 30 minutes (included cleaning areas accessed).

Extremely well, both problems solved and parts provided and installed in one visit. He is very competent and was able to trouble shoot our intermittent rasping problem in our home which we could never figure out. He will do well by you.

I needed an emergency service visit and found Guerrero's Electric on Angie's list and called the company on a Saturday on behalf of my parents who live in the East Bay. My parent are older and quite vulnerable. I come home to aid them with their transactions, but I live far away and was nervous about having a new servicer come to the house without being present to vet the company. I took a leap of faith and tried Guerrero's. They were kind, respectful, trustworthy and professional. They were also sensitive to working with older and disabled people. I could tell by the cost and my father's report that the electrician who came would never take advantage of the elderly. I highly recommend their service and will hire them for our next electrical repair or project.

Like clockwork. It was Saturday. Carlos answered when I phoned, was here promptly when he said ( about an hour and a half after I called! ), and efficiently completed the job. I found them knowledgeable, curtious and pleasant to have in my home. I would definitely use them again.

Carlos and his assistant did the job in a very quick professional manner. They cleaned up after themselves and even helped up move the stove back into place. The most amazing part was that they were available today and came 40 minutes after I called.

Contacted Guerreros Electric, and was told that it was probably a bad breaker. The was told by Carlos that they did not cover my area, but if I could wait a few days, he could try and make it out here. I was in no hurry, so said sure. I was given a quote of $200 after sending a picture of my breaker box to Carlos, and told that they needed access to the breaker box to do the job. When they got out here, they popped out the old breaker and inspected it. I was told by Carlos that they old breaker was not burnt out, but he still replaced it with a used part that he had. He asked to go inside of the back room to inspect the receptacles, but my renter was not home and the door to that room was locked. I told him that I did not have access to the room, and was told that until he could check the outlets in the room, the problem might still be there, which was not what I wanted to hear being that he just charged me $100 for an older looking part than the one that was replaced, and a part by the way that was not exactly the correct part to use being that it was a double breaker, but replacing a single. The problem immediately started up again, worst than it was before the "REPAIR." I called him, and was told to keep the breaker off until it got fixed. When I texted him to come back out, I was told that he was busy and to try back in a couple of weeks. After the Labor Day Weekend, I checked again and was told that he is very busy right now and can't come back out. So basically, he took my $100 and ran as far as I'm concerned, which wouldn't be an issue if he came back out to complete the job and maybe took into consideration that I already paid $100 for nothing. I guess that was too much to hope for from Guerrero's Electric. Oh well, maybe I should be thankful that he didn't take $200 from me. Hmmmm?

Carlos (the owner) and his crew worked on a rental project. They arrived each of three days on time and ready to work. Carlos took care of the permit requirements and worked with PG&E to verify that applications were accurate and timely. The project was completed ahead of schedule, complete with successful PG&E and City inspections. The Guerreros team was very patient, friendly, and very respectful toward the effected tenants, even though the tenants were somewhat difficult to work with. I would hire Guerreros again in a New York Minute!

I would hire them back, and in fact likely will. They are great electricians and were very reasonable. Showed up the same day on time and did things quickly. In fact they didn't have a special kind of fixture box, and another team swooped by and dropped it off so they could keep working. They explained and showed me everything they were doing. I really appreciated that.

Carlos and his team were very professional and did high quality work. I would definitely use them again. The price was a bit higher than another electrician's quote, but the work was different in scope (with Carlos paying much more attention to what is required by code) and with Carlos implementing a solution that was much cleaner than the other provider proposed. Great job, Carlos!

Carlos responded to my voicemail within a couple hours and we were able to schedule the job within a few days. He didn't mind that it was just a small repair job. He and his assistant arrived on time, had all the parts they needed, and finished the job in about a hour. That included having to troubleshoot my electrical panel which had been poorly labeled by a previous electrician who installed the panel and rewired my house. (Don't get me started about that guy and his assistant ...) In contrast, Carlos and his assistant were friendly and professional and worked well together. They took the time to explain about the limited lifespan on the ballasts in flourescent fixtures and what had caused the problem with the dishwasher plug. (Note to all -- make sure that all your electrical plugs are seated all the way into outlet. My dishwasher plug had pulled part of the way out which caused it to arc. Since the outlet's at the back of the cabinet under the sink, I hadn't noticed until it stopped working.)
The end result is the light, outlet, and cord are now fixed, my electrical panel has been labeled properly (for the circuits that were involved), and the final cost was even slightly less than the rough estimate I got by phone when we scheduled the job.

1. He picked up his phone and tried to help me free of charge.
2. He showed up 20 minutes after I hung up the phone with him.
3. He spent 3.5 hours fixing my bungled light fixture problem and helped me trouble shoot my very messed up electrical system.
4. He only charged me for the visit his initial quote, despite spending x3 amount of time to get it fixed.

Horrible!
He did not give me an inspection report. Instead he gave me an "estimate". It was for $12000 for redoing work in the entire house. I had to swallow hard, but consoled my self that electricians are the highest paid contractors, so may be this might be OK.
I asked him to meet me at the house a few weeks later so that I can review the estimate and also pay him his fees. He came with his son. I was with my son too.
While discussing the work, he said that the estimate did not include the cost of pulling permits. That would be ~$2000 extra!. He actually said that the permits delay the whole work and said that they are such pain in the butt. (These are my words - not his) He actually said that I should get the work without the permits. I was new to the area, but I thought that this was fishy.
Later, I started doing remodeling of the basement bathroom and I called him for redoing the electrical work. Having met him twice already, I was hoping that he would give me good price. His quote was $2200. The quote included all the hardware, but I thought it was high. So asked him if he would drop the price if I bought the hardware. He refused. So was hard pressed to find another contractor. Which, I did.
The second contractor (Alley Electrical) quoted $1200 and actually gave me Angie's 10% member discount. I hired him. I will right his review some other day, because I want to finish of my review of Guerreros Electrical.
This guy is the highest rated on Yelp! There were two short reviews on Angie's list and I think he is rated high here too. I can't believe how this guy can get such high ranking. Makes me wonder how the ranking systems work. Any case, I suggest my Angie's fellow friends to stay away from this character. "Hi Member, I cannot charge you for any electrical work with a lower price that you offered me and it is why I was afraid that you would give me a bad review. If you didn't take my estimate it's fine , but you can't say that I charged you for meeting you and answering your questions from other times. I only charged you to check the electrical wire in your house and I answered all your previous question from electrical inspections. You wanted or you made changes in the bathroom and laundry room without permits. I gave you an estimate whether you or I got a permit because sometime owners pull city permits. Please help costumers with the truth and not just write a review that will only benefit you and not other costumers that can have a better experience with my electrical company. Thanks Carlos."

Carlos Guerrero is a delight to work with. He is incredibly professional and meticulous about his work. He is also warm, friendly, flexible, and eager to work with you. Carlos and his whole team put me at ease with their impeccable manners, sensitivity and professionalism. I was totally comfortable having them around the house, around my kids, etc.
We did this electrical work when we moved into our house 3 years ago and I have had small occasions to call Carlos again since then. The positive relationship has held up over time and I look forward to using Guerrero's Electric for our next project soon.

As always, Carlos was on time, polite, professional, did the job right and was completely easy to communicate with. He has done a number of small jobs for us, including fixing some wiring that a contractor had incorrectly installed. He has also installed an outdoor electrical outlet. Every bit of work he has done continues to function perfectly. Carlos has done work for my father and brother each of whom were as pleased with his work as my wife and I were. My wife and I live in a very old house. If we had the funds for it I would not hesitate to have Carlos rewire/upgrade the electrical wiring for the entire house. In my experience it is unusual to find someone to work on ones house for whatever reason and one does not have to give the slightest thought about the quality of work or if you are being overcharged.
